We had a party of six dine here. The person that hosted our small group is a regular at this place and they had her special table waiting for us. The service as soon as we sat down to the time we got us was excellent. All the food we had was outstanding. Lobster, tuna, steaks, and all the rest. I don't think we had anything that wasn't outstanding and we are a hard group to please!!

I made our reservation letting them know it was an anniversary dinner. We arrived to find our table ready with a “Happy Anniversary” card and star confetti on the table! Our attentive server, Pedro, was great! We started out with a flute of sparkling wine, which we didn’t order, and a sample of filet with blue cheese crumbles. Ordered a manhattan and rum and coke, both very good. Ordered lobster tacos, appetizer, warm goat cheese salad for starters. Excellent! Wine with dinner, I had Parmesan crusted Sole, hubby had filet topped with king crab and roasted asparagus. Food was amazing. Pedro brought us a beautiful dessert that included a chocolate cookie and small piece of banana fosters flambé. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The steak tartare, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, house salad, center cut filet, and au gratin potatoes were excellent. What made the steak and Caesar salad so amazing is the cooking on real wood, and the steak rub. Also, the service was perfect. We would highly recommend this restaurant to not just meat lovers, but seafood too.

We have been to this Eddie V’s several times, as a couple and with friends. Across ALL of those events, we have NEVER experienced what we experienced last night. We started out fine, even seeing a couple get engaged next to us. The trouble started after the drinks came and then just got worse. This was a birthday celebration, which when making the reservation, we were to get a champagne toast, never came. Our waiter was either new or totally over his head. The appetizer showed up, was placed in front of the wrong person, TWICE, but nevertheless they finally got there. Salads were delivered, that was good, then came the fiasco. Two dinners, that is all that was ordered and they could not bring them out together. Both steaks, one with crab legs, the other with lobster. Do not understand how you can do that. When the second dinner finally arrived, the sautéed spinach was cold and when they were asked to bring out additional lemon for the lobster, brought out drink wedges, not seafood “seed protected” halves that came with the meal. All of the extras were asked for when the meals were ordered. Nothing came out as ordered. The au gratin potatoes were really good, but since our waiter never looked at us and at this point TWO floor managers had visited the table noting their apologies, it just did not help. The meal was spiraling down quickly. Our waiter finally stopped by, asked if everything was alright, obviously it had not been, and asked if we wanted desert. One of the floor managers came to the table and brought a desert port, delivering two to the table. We went ahead and ordered seasonal berries for desert. What we got was blueberries, four quarter slices of strawberry and 6 blackberries, all delivered with a no taste whipped cream. We asked for the bill, paid it. I am sure had I created a scene this bill would have been much less, but pitiful management came to the forefront. Upon leaving my wife let the hostess stand know about the toast, to which they acted surprised. Sad at best. The best thing about this night, was the very polite Valet Eddie and HIS attention to detail. We will never be back. If your looking for a nice experience go to Capital Grill or Charlie’s to name a few.

Special occasions are so often our forte and we regret hearing about the experience you and your wife had with us back on the 11th. We definitely would have wanted to begin the evening with the champagne toast you were anticipating and made sure you had everything you needed. We sincerely apologize about letting you down in such an important moment! You mentioned we had the chance to make some amends that evening, but we would welcome the chance to further connect about your birthday experience and begin to restore your trust. We never hope to have you leave disappointed. If you are open to conversing further, please do not hesitate to contact me - Justin.Scruton@eddiev.com All the best.

Great settings, very good service and excellent food. We had yellow tail sashimi (very fresh) as appetizers, then the sautéed scallops, the gulf shrimp with stuffed crab, with the truffle macaroni&cheese as a side. The whole meal was well-cooked with very fresh ingredients professionally served. I will go back.

First visit for my husband's birthday. Starting with valet we were disappointed with our experience. 2 people running valet on a Saturday night? That was our first wait. 3-4 people at the host stand and another wait. My compliments to our server - she was very knowledgeable and attentive. Ordered drinks (when we got the bill they did a bait&switch to a more expensive liquor); the Caesar salad was out of the ordinary but very delicious. Lobster bisque also quite good. My husband order the bacon wrapped filet Oscar style medium rare. The lobster was cold and the steak was very rare (luckily he didn't mind). Asparagus was not cooked. I had the jumbo gulf shrimp supposed stuffed with lump crab but it was more like smothered. The crab was very good, but this was a crab dish not shrimp. Really not what I wanted or thought what I would receive. Way overpriced even compared to their peer restaurants. Dollar for dollar I'd go to Fleming's or Ruth's Chris before coming back.

Everything about Eddie V's is top shelf. From the food to the service, to the wines and the atmosphere. You won't find a better restaurant in Tampa bay . Everything on the menu is the best quality and the presentation is awesome . They have the most helpful staff, that is always willing to assist you in anyway they can. For a business meal or just a couples night out, ( families are welcomed) you wont regret going, and you will return.

My wife and I came here last night to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and usually save Eddie V’s for special occasions. We love this restaurant because it all starts before you even walk in with the valet parking attendants! Every step to your table you are treated as if you are the only customer there! The wait staff are the best in the business. Our main waiter last night, Rodney, went above and beyond any expectations. Totally immersed in making absolutely sure our experience was second to NONE! Ruby red, fresh rose petals adorned our table when we got there! Rodney asked if we had been here previously which was yes. He asked for our beverage choice and when he returned, explained the Chef’s special for the evening and then took our order for appetizers…Yellowtail Sashimi and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which we shared. Both items soooo delicious 👍. After slowly savoring the appetizers, Rodney returned and took our order for dinner…we both decided on the Chef’s special which was Roasted Halibut in a light Misoyaki broth! Before the main entrees arrived, we had the Arugula with Warm Goat Cheese Salad drizzled with a Balsamic Vinaigrette…superb! Shortly after the salads disappeared, the Halibut was served!! OMG!! Perfectly roasted! I chose 2 additional Stuffed Shrimp with my entree, as well. One of thee best dishes we’ve had here! We chose the Korean BBQ Brussels Sprouts for the accompanying side and these too, were delicious! My wife was already satiated from the appetizers and salad and stopped eating after a few bites from the entree to leave a small space for dessert😂. We were offered the Bananas Foster Butter Cake as a complimentary anniversary dessert but that was on my mind already! My wife opted for the Godiva Chocolate Cake! Both desserts decadently yummy and not overly sweet on the tooth👍 Great evening! Excellent food and service to match! Experience one of thee best restaurants in Tampa!!! Eddie V’s got seafood!👍

Reason for Visit: Having Dinner with Friends. Location: Great location close to Tampa Airport , Valet parking was easy and free. Ambience: Very gorgeous interior with a modern décor and warm lighting. Menu Selection: The menu selection is quite wide-ranging so lot of choices to make. I went for the bacon wrapped filet I mean you can never go wrong with bacon. My filets were cooked just the way like them and then topped with a plethora crab meat which kind of melted in your mouth. . And then to topped the meal off we ordered the banana fosters, the flame had the aroma floating around the table and of course we all drove in with four spoons and loved it. Overall Impression: Great food, nice location and worthy of a multiple return visit.

Excellent food and drinks. Smoked Old Fashion with Basil Hayden’s was excellent. Filet was cooked to perfection, pink in the middle yet crisp outside. Definitely try the crab fried rice it’s one of their signature dishes. Service is a bit slow and methodical but maybe that’s their play. They were moderately busy but it took 2.5 hours start to finish.

Dinner at Eddie V's was fantastic. We went with another couple to celebrate my birthday and my friend's. I had the parmesan sole which was fabulous. The portion was so large i brought half of it home. The au gratin potatoes were creamy and the asparagus was freshly grilled. Also ordered was the Chilean Sea Bass (steamed), King Crab filet Oscar and the 16 oz strip steak. Everyone agreed the food was top notch. Our server Lucia K was attentive and very helpful. Two Celebration birthday desserts were complimentary which was thoughtful It was a lovely evening and I highly reccomend.

Our extended family of 8 had dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was perfect. We were seated in a private dining room which made talking and hearing quite easy. The menu offered some unique items plus some more typical items, but more uniquely prepared. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes, made recommendations (for food and wines), and had a very easy and funny manner. My wife and I had the sea bass, which is the best that we have ever had being a very thick cut and oh so tender. Several of our party had the filet mignon which was excellent. As it was my wife's birthday, she was served a flaming banana rum cake and ice cream. The presentation was lovely. It was a pricey evening, but very memorable.

My wife and I came for an early dinner. We didn't need a reservation. We were famished and in the mood for seafood. We shared The Big Eddie: king crab, Maine lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters. Expensive but worth it. So much good food. We even had a doggie bag to bring back to our hotel room. Professional service.

Sunday dinner at Eddie V's Prime Seafood in the Big Guava! From the moment you enter the door you know that you are about to be spoiled! Celebrating our 5th - February 26th together, it was extra special having our good friends, Cindy & John "Coach" Carney, Dede & Russ Harrison and Eddie Fastook to enjoy the occasion! The restaurant is set in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere accented with a palette of sultry earth tones occasionally interrupted by bold colored artwork and mixed wood finishes. The atmosphere and service is fine dining done very well! It's so elegant, I was surprised to discover it's part of the Darden chain with 31 other locations around the country. I told Nadeene Stuart-Horak the next time we go back, I want to sit in the lounge or at the seafood bar to enjoy the nightly live jazz music. Plus there were so many other options I hope we go back soon to try other tasty treats! We started with a selection of their cold water oysters as our appetizer and I could have eaten the dozen by myself. My Tuesday, chose the 8 Oz. Center Cut Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection! For our side, we had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with a Korean Glaze and Peanuts. I on the other hand being in a Prime Seafood restaurant decided on the Chilean Sea Bass which was steamed Hong Kong Style with a light soy broth! It was melt in your mouth delicious! All of the desserts are baked fresh daily in the Pastry Kitchen and guess who chose the Hot CHOCOLATE Godiva Cake? What's Coach holding in the last picture, if you know you know?! Bon appetit!!!

The best in steak, the filet is prime cut and the most tender and flavorful you can get anywhere. We also had the shrimp appetizer which was slightly breaded and delish. The truffle mac and cheese was a great side choice. Service was excellent and no issues. Slightly pricey, but nice for the special dinner occassions.
