Our lunch was excellent - substantial salads with crisp young greens from local farms, topped with tart apples, candied pecans, blue cheese (mine) and shrimp, pasta, and other good things (my guy's). Iced tea was good and freshly brewed. Service courteous and prompt.

Superb southern cuisine. Stunning 1930's dining room. Great and thoughtful service. Reasonably priced.

There's not much to say. The service was just horrible. They were understaffed, and inattentive. They forgot our order, were out of food, and things took forever. Disappointing.

After hearing about how good the food is at this restaurant , we decided to go check it out. There was no one in the dining room except for one table when we arrived. There was a wedding about to start outside, which was a beautiful view. I ordered the Apalachee Bay seafood feast... Potato and asparagus on the side...... More

After taking the boat ride, we stopped in the lodge for lunch. The navy bean soup was quite good. My salad was fresh. My husband also enjoyed his club sandwich. A tour group came trouping in just as we gave our food order, so it was delayed until after the group was served. But the lodge is lovely to look... More

The dining room at the Lodge serves a variety of fresh tasty salads seafood burgers and sandwiches and traditional dinner menu as well. The navy bean soup is [in my opinion] worth the trip. Service might be a bit slow . The grounds and walking trails are easy to navigate and during the winter you likely will see a manatee... More

We are here for dinner and breakfast and it was FANTASTIC!!! The Lodge & restaurant are adorable & it's like stepping back in time! Gorgeous decor from the floor to the ceiling and the details are everywhere. For dinner, don't miss the fried chicken or the seafood feast! I don't like oysters, but my mom got the Oysters Rockefeller &... More

You must try the fried green tomatoes, heaven! Everything was excellent both at breakfast and dinner...seafood, beef, salads...didn't matter.

The dining room is located inside the lodge and has an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1960s/70s, especially the chairs. It was a quiet night at the restaurant, although there was a wedding going on outside in the lobby (free entertainment!). Our food experience overall was good, although I would not recommend getting anything with the alfredo or cajun cream sauce--was... More

A truly charming hotel and restaurant with a great menu. The service was very nice. The food look a bit longer than expected on an evening that was not that busy, but it was very good. I would definitely like to come back.
