I Only go there for dinner every few months and that's all I eat there. Have no opinion on other foods. It's cheap, fast and tasty. They don't have Heinz ketchup there but the odd brand seems fine.

Buds chicken is a great fast food option if you want something a bit better, I love to get the shrimp, the fries are always good and crispy, they don't get 5 stars because unfortunately the workers are often young and indifferent and rude or just not friendly which is not great in the service industry

Squeaky clean restaurant. Great prices. Great Value. I over ordered thinking a $1.99 Fish Taco would be a nibble.....no way. Fresh fresh fish and a hefty great tasting Taco. The Fish Sandwich is off the charts. They serve what I first thought were hush puppies but they are very good Corn Fritters. The $10.99 Chicken Deal with sides is excellent... More

Used to eat here when I was a kid before moved out of state. Came down for a visit and still great chicken and the best sweet tasting hushpuppies ever. Reason gave a 4 we ordered at drive thru and when got home our order was incomplete.

The breaded chicken fillets were too big to be 'fingers', the beans were too overcooked, the French fries were to soggy and under cooked and the coleslaw was too watery. The overall quality of the food was below standards and very sloppy done.

Everything is good straight forward no nonsense food here. I love to have the fried oysters when they are a seasonal offering. Chicken or fish is always a good choice. Nobody makes better potato salad; do not miss having some.

This is the best place around for real good cheap eats. The seafood platter is the best! for $10 you get fried fish, scallops, shrimp, hush puppies, coleslaw, fries & sauces. I try not to eat fried foods but this is not greasy. Nice, clean place with friendly staff. Hands down, this is the best fast food place for seafood... More

While I don't go there often because deep fried food is so bad for me, once in awhile, I do stop in. The food is tasty and plentiful. The price is also good. I don't finish all the fries and never eat the hush puppies, I order the lunch size portion even if I'm there for dinner, it's still plenty... More

Very generous portions at reasonable prices. The scallop dinner consists of small scallops but they are tasty. The fries at Buds are the best we have found anywhere. The food is always served hot which we appreciate! The fritters are exceptional...we usually order a few extra because they are so good.

I hadn't been here in years so thought I would try it again, wanted some good seafood. I found it very expensive for fast food, there were no customers, food is OK, but pricy for fast-food, seafood platter has little seafood, mostly fries. Seems OK, but pricy and they give little for the price.
