Just happened on this place, it was excellent. Family owned and operated. The breakfast was very good, best homemade biscuits. Ended up there for lunch as well, great fried chicken. Lots of vegetable and meat choices. Friendly, homey atmosphere. Great staff. I will go back and bring friends,

My family and I have been patrons of The New Georgian Hills Restaurant for YEARS!!! My dad will eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner here on Fridays. We keep coming back because we love the food (and sweet tea!) AND the friendly, welcoming wait staff! I'm a vegetarian and always enjoy the veggie plate! And they are always up to the... More

This is our family's favorite eating place. We have been coming here for years now. Family owned and you can tell from the moment you walk in the door that you are welcome!! I'm perplexed at the negative reviews on here as it is always crowded and full of regulars who cannot get enough!! If you haven't been here, give... More

This was supposed to be a Canton landmark with great home style country cooking. The food I had was re-heated in the microwave and there was nothing that tasted homemade about it. Plenty of other great places in the area to eat at.

The country fried steak was a performed frozen pattie, really not good. Sides bland. Not a fan. I have had breakfast here and it was ok, but drive a bit up the road to the Keithsburg Cafe..

We go often, every other week of so. Oh so yummy. Friendly service and feels like home. They don't mess around with the sweet tea, just like mom makes. My favorite is the country fried steak with gravy and a big ole biscuit. My kids love the battered fries too!

Recent health score not observed. When you arrive at the somewhat scruffy shopping center in which this place is located, keep repeating to yourself, "You can't judge a book by its cover." Say it again as you enter and are seated. This is a Southern meat-and-2 all the way. But despite the spartan interior and decor, it's quite clean. They... More

Do not go here for the decor, but for the good food and good service. Older Southern restaurant with good sweet tea and veggies. Traditional Fried Chicken, Country Fried steak, Chicken and Dumplings and great biscuits! Lots of items to choose from, fresh veggies cooked southern style. Nice family place.

This is a quality no frill restaurant fully meeting the requirement of a southern family lunch.. The folks are very friendly, the food and deserts prepared on premises. The restaurant is very clean and the food is not greasy. Checks and cash only.

Just got back from trying the New Georgian Hills restaurant and this place sure is a gem in the old part of Canton. Coming down the hill heading west out of the downtown area, it's in an old shopping center with an auto parts place and a Salvation Army salvage store, but the food is excellent. Not swanky, not filled... More
