Though it is located about a block away from the main thoroughfare of Peachtree Street, the Frosty Caboose is worth the diversion if you seek some wonderful homemade ice cream especially on a balmy southern day. You will find all flavors and options once you step up to the Caboose window. If you have little ones they will certainly enjoy... More

We regularly come here after eating at Vintage Pizzeria (our favorite restaurant) across the street. This place is always popular, in all seasons. Rarely do you see an ice cream place that requires you to wait outside, with long lines even during the "off" seasons like fall and winter. The ice cream here is that good, though.

Who doesn't enjoy an ice cream cone outdoors on a hot day? They also have no sugar added options which are good.

We have two boys and they just LOVE the "let's eat ice cream and watch trains go by" concept here! This ice cream stand (which IS an actual caboose!) has train tracks, Marta line, and rail switches behind it - plus PDK airport is just a mile south - always something going on for little ones to see! Plenty of... More

We have just bought a loft in Chamblee and happened on 'Frosty Caboose' - what a find, although we realize this could be dangerous. The ice cream is delicious and creamy and mmmmmmmmm. Fantastic. Just one more reason why we're glad we found this awesome neighborhood 🍦🍦🍦🍦

We were craving ice cream and found this place by pure chance. What a find! When we got here, the line was relatively long, but we decided to stay seeing that the passing ice cream looked amazing and the service was quite quick. I had a waffle cone with one scoop of cookies and cream, and my wife had a... More

My kids and I like to go to Chamblee , search for treasures at Consignment Furniture Depot, grab a delicious pizza at Vintage pizza and top off a fun afternoon at the Caboose. It's fun to eat it outside, let the kids try out the caboose and eat their yummy ice cream.

We started coming here for ice cream this summer in addition to our normal Brusters and Baskin Robbins. It's not cheap, but their ice cream is really good, and the servings are large. The kids love coming here due to the Caboose, which they can play on, and it's right next to the rail lines that come through Chamblee. The... More

This little place is the go to spot in Chamblee and surrounding area for ice-cream. Great variety of flavors and, although there is usually a line, it moves fast. Whenever we dine in Chamblee, we always go here for desert.
