Saw the crowd and realized this might be a great place. We were not disappointed. The burgers were over the top. Really great service especially considering the crowd. Problem was we were hungry again in less that two days. LOL. Portions were large. Try this place you will not be disappointed.

Awesome variety of unique food and good variety of beers that you can't buy in Georgia. Staff could be a little more friendly and outgoing.

After waiting over an hour at the Wicked Pig, my family found Universal Joint. What an awesome restaurant, great food and friendly servers! We won't make the mistake of going anywhere else first...next time!

Good atmosphere, nice draft beer selection, and pretty good grub make this a worthy stop if looking for great local joint with some character.

We took a day trip to Clayton and stumbled across the Universal Joint for lunch. It's housed in a converted gas station and this is what first attracted our attention. At first I was concerned all the choices would be too spicy for my husband but we were all pleasantly surprised. The food is so flavorful but with out the... More

I was in town for two days and went on a recommendation from the innkeeper. I tried the steak tacos the first day and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were! I came back the next day and ordered the arugula & mushroom quesadilla with a side sale and citrus vinaigrette. I expected the quesadilla to be thin, but... More

Loved this restaurant - food and wine choices. It was so much fun to sit on the patio. Menu is wonderful for all tastes.

Been here several times - in fact, will drive an hour north of our home just to eat here. Outdoor setting in No. Ga. mountains. Menu is huge and very creative. The old adage that one gets what they pay for is very true. Not inexpensive, but oh SO good. My wife tries something new every time we go. This... More
