We spent our anniversary at Amicalola State Park and ate dinner our last night at Bourbon Street Grille. We had a great 2nd story level table next to the window overlooking the brightly-lit downtown Dahlonega. We started off with a couple of beers and appetizers, which were very reasonably-priced. Our main dishes were a "mixed bag". The red beans and... More

We eat here fairly often on Sundays. I absolutely love the Bowl of Gold. Sometimes I add a side of cubed sweet potatoes. We've also eaten the steak and guacamole salad, very good and the muffelatta (spelling?) omelet. Everything is always really good and the service is awesome most of the time.

Tasty food with friendly service! Served without waiting! Atmosphere for all ages! People were friendly and helpful with food suggestions. Went with a group of four friends we each tried something different and all was delicious. Would definately eat at this restuarant again. Was lots of fun with my friends!

We called early in the day and Ann said that we could come in anytime we want and she would take care of us. I came in with my family of 10 and Ann personally took care of us. I ordered a vegan shrimp po boy and it was delivered without meat. I was upset and sent it back but... More

Wife and I ate lunch on a SAT. I had the shrimp Jambalaya, she had a crab cake and fries. Food was good, also the service.

We dined on the second floor balcony overlooking the historic gold museum and central square. The inside dining room is also atmospheric. The New Orleans is some of the best outside that city. The Muffaletta sandwich was exceptional and rarely found away from NO. Traditional Jambalaya was also good, as was the crab cake. Service was good. The only negative is... More

Met friends for a weekday lunch. Upstairs dining room was sunlit and quaint. Tables filled up quickly. Great beer list and menu selections. Ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and it came out fast and hot-crispy, salty goodness. Everyone got a different selection. Fresh oysters, spicy gumbo, flash fried shrimp po' boy. my muffaletta sandwich was toasted which is non-traditional.... More

This restaurant was recommended by one of the locals. We dined outside in a January! They offered blankets but we didn't need them. I had the mufaletto and my husband had shrimp and crab cakes. Delicious!

My wife and I travel to Dahlonega quite a bit, and we usually eat at the Bourbon Street Grille. Service can be a little slow during the busy times of the season, but the food is worth the wait. Try the gumbo over grits...deeeelicious! We like to sit on the porch out front and people watch as we dine. Very... More

First - you have got to try their hot chocolate! It is so wonderful, with Peppermint Snapps and whipped cream! But everything we have ever eaten here has been delicious! And all of the staff is friendly, fast, and willing to go the extra little bit to make your visit an enjoyable one!

Bourbon Street Grille is situated on the beautiful Dahlonega square. Located in the historic Hall House building, Bourbon Street Grill boasts full bars and dining areas on two unique floors, which begs the question, “Top or bottom?”. The “top” features an intimate dining room and balcony overlooking the picturesque town square, while the “bottom” has a festive pub atmosphere with flat-screen televisions inside and a pet-friendly deck outside.
Our diverse menu offers the perfect meal to go with that perfect seat. From Cajun-inspired favorites like Jambalaya or Gumbo, to delicious seafood such as fresh Apalachicola Oysters or Blackened Redfish, and even that juicy Black & Blue Sirloin or Grille Burger, we have a fantastic dish to satisfy any taste. Join us on the weekends for our fabulous brunch options like Crab Cakes Benedict or our infamously huge Lost Bread. Our knowledgeable staff is happy to help you come up with tasty solutions for allergies and special dietary needs, so fear not, vegans and gluten-free folks! Pop in for a drink, and enjoy our selection of craft beers, fine wines, and specialty cocktails. If you don't have the time to sit down and stay a while, carry-out meals or on-foot delivery to businesses on the square are available.
In addition to our great everyday dining experiences, we can help you make your event— big or small— special; ask us about hosting or catering your wedding, meeting, or get-together.
