For just one waiter he did an excellent job and the food was very good! We sat in the outside covered patio watching visitors, traffic, talking was very relaxing, will do it again soon!! Kathy K.

I’ve had their raw oysters many times and grilled fish a time or two. My husband like the pasta dish. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is the price. A little expensive.

Nothing outstanding one way or another. There was a small problem with an order, and the owner came to the table as took care of it immediately.

Back Porch Oyster Bar Restaurant is inspired by coastal North Carolina cuisine, our seafood is fine dining in a fun atmosphere. Our menu runs the gamut from simple fried catfish to Ahi tuna tartare, pan seared Chilean Sea Bass in a lemon beurre blanc, and cold water lobster tails. We also have a wide selection of cold water oysters from Northeastern U.S. and Canada. Yes you can find great seafood in the North Georgia Mountains!!
