First time to eat here.. great experience! Restaurant taking safety precautions.. atmosphere is great.. food was delicious (had lunch - hot ham & cheese & southern burger- both great) - waitress was hardworking, and responsive... holiday music playing.. new favorite place in Ellijay!

The restaurant has a nice variety of foods. The soups were delicious! A favorite was the Mushroom and Brie Cheese Soup— perfect for a cold day. The sandwiches were good with a generous portion of meat. Price was reasonable.

Cantaberry is the anchor of downtown. You can’t come to ELLIJAY without visiting the Cantaberry. Today’s lunch special was a chicken sandwich with cheddar ,bacon, and avocado. I ordered the special with a cup of chicken and wild rice. My wife had the pimento burger....We split the sandwich and the burger. Best lunch in a long time. Just perfection! We are locals who eat here regularly and still get surprises with their unique specials.More

We were a party of eight and had a bit of a wait, but well worth it! Great service for such a large group. Delicious sandwiches and soups.

We arrived at around 2pm and there was an 1 hour and 45 minute wait which put us getting a table when they closed at 4pm. It was crazy for 2 oclock. It blew my mind a lunch rush was still happening until I saw...how few tables the restaurant had due to covid. We tried to go to another restaurant but they were just as slammed. So we came back and went to the bar and the lovely server Tatem took good care of us. She calmed my wife down and said the food would be out in 15 minutes so we waited and sure enough got it to go. And was out eating our dinner in less than 45 minutes. It was packed though with no tables outside. So we sat at the park benches and enjoyed dinner. The apple salad was tasty. And my wife enjoyed her roast beef sandwich.More

My wife and I met our best friends at a local apple orchard at 9 for our annual apple run then went to downtown Ellijay arriving at 9:45. It seems all the shops open at 10. I logged in to Trip Advisor for restaurants nearby...and it listed Cantaberry as 167 feet away but closed. We could see people inside so we walked over for breakfast. We were seated immediately however it pretty much went downhill from there. They were slammed. A waitress came and took our orders after a long wait. She eventually returned with our coffee and hot chocolate in styrofoam cups as they had ran out of coffe mugs. That was OK. We placed our orders and received our meals in a reasonable time. My friend ordered cheese grits with his order. I know our waitress got it right as she asked what kind of cheese he wanted but he got potatoes. He and his wife both ordered eggs scrambled. They were brown and rubbery. I ordered over medium and got brown, tough , and done. This is the second place I have ordered toast and only got 1 slice. My wifes's waffle was barely warm and would not begin to melt butter. I feel like the management was totally unprepared for the volume of business they got on a Saturday during peak apple season. As we were leaving they were turning down customers because they had ran out of food. Our waitress and the others did the best they could. We plan on visiting Ellijay again and we will probably eat there just not breakfast and not during peak apple season.More

We really enjoyed this establishment. The decor was wonderful and the service excellent. We ordered the Turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich, and the club wrap. Both were very good. The ingredients were fresh and healthy. The chicken and wild rice was great, too. Highly recommend!
