I always purchase their specialty cakes for events that I host for my company's hotels. This purchase was for an early Veteran's Day celebration for our hotel guests who visit the VA hospital in downtown Augusta. The staff and owners at Red Oak Manor never...More

Service was prompt and friendly. Food is fresh and very good. Always end up ordering the pimento cheese, but friends manage to make other choices which they day are just as delicious. Also, the fries are worth a try. Good value, very good food.

Stopped in on our trip to Harlem Ga. and found a gem. We loved it. Hamburgers taste like old fashion burgers. Home made potato chips and French fries. Pecan pie was great.

This restaurant is housed in a building from 1880 and is attached to a B&B. It is all family run and the workers (mostly family) are delightful. The menu is limited but they serve all three meals and are catered by many local groups. I...More

Had the Acorn make two specialty cakes for events for our staff members. Not only were the cakes beautiful, but they were delicious and our staff members loved them. Definitely recommend their specialty cakes and I know I will order in the future.

How easy you have made this. My friend and Sunday School classmate, Brenda Williams suggested your catering services as we plan for a Christmas dinner party to be held at a church in Evans on Dec 8. Two senior adult classes who are planning to "treat ourselves" instead of our usual potluck where we do the decorating and clean-up as well as cook. MY idea is to have "real" plates, glasses and silverware, cloth napkins and tablecloths, a variety of well-presented foods and beverages. I'm looking at $20 per person but that is a number I pulled out of a hat. We expect 75 or so people. It could be buffet; it would be nice to have a server, however. We COULD decorate the dining tables, including cloths, napkins and centerpieces pretty easily. We COULD prepare and serve our own punch and crackers during our pre-dinner "cocktail-less" hour. We could handle coffee. We have ice. Does that give you something to think about? What I DON'T want is what could be provided by any of a number of "everybody already goes there" restaurants - BBQ, beans and slaw; fried chicken, fries and potato salad; etc. Looking forward to a reply and some feedback from others who have used your services.
