The staff here are always so friendly, but the food is bland, badly cooked, uninspiring and takes forever to get. Nice place to hang on the patio if you're biking through, I suppose. If you love Ruby Tuesday's, you'll very nearly like this place.

My wife & I had dinner on Sunday, April 22 about 7:30. The restaurant was busy, but not full. We were seated quickly, but waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. There were only two waitresses working the dining room,...More

We visited this restaurant today after a year's absence. It was our third or fourth visit over a period of years. The food was excellent; my grilled salmon was perfect, as were the garlic mashed potatoes; A companion's fried green tomatoes were good but extremely...More

My friend and I had lunch here and loved it. We shared the antebellum salad and fried green tomato sandwich with sweet potato fries. The salad was amazing and the kitchen was kind enough to split it for us before it came to the table....More

This is a local family restaurant, and apparently the only one in town, based on the conversations we overheard. The food was good but not great. My wife had the ribeye (about $22) and I had the tilapia tacos (about $10) The steak was okay...More

We enjoyed this local restaurant. I would highly revommend the ribs, green beans, onion rings and fried green tomatoes. The chicken tenders were good. The special , bang bang shrimp, was very good. The service was fine, if a tad slow. We will be back.

We ate there for lunch and dinner. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed eating outside.

For the past 11 years I do a bike ride in Madison for 3 days. Always looked forward to going to the Chop House to eat. Unfortunately for the past 4 years it keeps getting worse. This year may be my last time eating there....More

I dined here with my girlfriend in the evening, around 7:00, the week of The Masters. The menu had the most variety of any restaurant in the downtown area. I do not eat meat and there were plenty of options. I settled on the Bourbon...More

This is a great place to have a couple of beers and enjoy good cooking. Servers are on it! Great food, down home atmosphere and reasonable prices. I look forward to going back!

Yes. When you enter the restaurant, there is dining on the left and right but the large party room is in the back left side of the restaurant, just past the restrooms. Complete privacy. We have seen very large groups as... More
