This was the first stop my sweetheart and I made during our day trip to Madison. I must say that more shops like this are needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful while trying to decide on what to get. The coffee was delicious as well as the cake. We both enjoyed this very much and would definitely go... More

Attended a live music event recently at Perc Avenue. The venue is attractive and has good acoustics, but the food was horrible. They had a special (salmon sandwich with fries). The salmon was far from fresh and the toasted bread was hard and really dry as if it had been cooked hours earlier to save time in preparation. I had... More

The menu covered omnivores and vegetarians. Food was great. The setting was comfi. Prices reasonable. I would definitely go back!

I believe I ate at this restaurant 8-9 years ago, as when I walked in the door over the weekend, the overall charming feeling came rushing back. Located right off the main town square, Perk Avenue Cafe & Coffeehouse is the perfect place to go in and grab a cup of coffee or latte to hold while strolling the streets....or... More

We walked in to get a couple of iced teas while we were visiting the downtown. After waiting at the counter for a few minutes to be acknowledged by a barista, they didn't take our order after greeting us and left to help another customer. We finally left empty handed after she ignored us and started talking to her co... More

Stopped in for my morning latte. I'll admit, normally a Starbucks junkie, so that's my baseline. Order a vanilla latte and took it to go and out the door. When I sat back down at a borrow work space to start my day, I tasted the latte. It was well, unspectacular to say the least. Honestly, had to dump it... More

There is nothing good about this place. We found a hair in our food and the food was awful. Do not go here. The coffee is burnt and tasteless. The staff are lazy and the place was empty at lunch time. Avoid avoid avoid. Fruit isn't fresh.

While on tour, I was put up at a hotel in Madison. I'm a proud coffee snob, so rather than settling for hotel coffee, I walked 3 miles to Perk Avenue. Greatest decision I made that day. Friendly staff, a delicious Americano and tasty pastries. I stop every time I'm driving through now. Plus, the town is such a quaint... More

. . . is the opportunity to leave the Interstate and find small and historic communities off the trail. Madison, Georgia is that type of place, and Perk Avenue is a jewel. We stopped for coffee and a light lunch and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and personal. The coffee and peach iced tea were wonderfully flavored. My... More

Stopped by on the way to Macon, GA after a trip to SC. I ordered a South West salad which was wonderful! Very cute place with great service and friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stop again
