Hubby & I we're staying at a nearby resort and walked to Crabdaddys for dinner as it was recommended by the bartender at the resort. Meal started with soft warm bread with cinnamon butter - yum! Salad for two was served with a little container of real bacon bits and delicious vinegrette dressing - yum again! I had Parmesan crusted... More

Food: Shrimp platter half fried/half blackened with squash and zucchini. Blackened shrimp are lightly seasoned, not actually blackened. But blackened and fried did have great flavor. The veggies were well cooked though zero flavoring. Salad and bread were plentiful. Service: just awful. Not a smile, not a "Hi I am --- I will be your waitress" not a "Thank you... More

Since we stay at The King and Prince, we always order take out because it's across the street and we avoid the wait. However, for the first time, we were disappointed. The Grouper Fingers $12. For 4 were overcooked and tasteless. Certainly, they not worth the $12. Charge. I will commend them on the artichoke appetizer (overpriced) and the crab... More

Had only one night in St. Simons so wanted some good seafood. My daughter suggested Crabdaddy's. Started with a crab cake appetizer. It was lump crabmeat made to perfection. We then ordered our entree. Fried shrimp for my husband and blacken mahi-mahi with a Cajan cream sauce for me. He enjoyed his fried shrimp but I loved my entree. It... More

This is one of my very favorite restaurants! I always get the blackened scallop appitizer, bowl of crab stew and the grouper with the cajun crawfish sauce. I split all of this with my boyfriend and then the bread pudding. So yummy

One of our regular evening dining spots on "the Island" (SSI). As part-time locals we dine here at least monthly. I can't understand how anyone could rate this restaurant anything but very good or excellent, unless you have no like for seafood. Anyhow, when it comes to "shrimp and grits", these folks have the best recipe on the local coast.... More

We had the tuna appetizer and it was PERFECTLY cooked. So melt in your mouth delicious! We also had the crab soup...oh my. This is crab LOADED deliciousness! For entrees we had the crab cakes (so much more crab than cake!) And the shrimp. So yummy and very well cooked! Finally, we ordered the bread pudding. Husband loves bread pudding,... More

This place has good food, good service, I really can't complain about any thing. The bread is good and the salad is served family style with your choice of dressing, which is served individually in it's own little pitcher.

The food was wonderful! We had shrimp and grits which was the best I have ever had and I have had plenty living in Charleston, SC. The crab soup and grouper fingers were very good. But the bread pudding was out of this world! Do not miss this restaurant! Polly was an excellent waitress. Very personable and efficient. She made... More
