The building is new, light and clean. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and you can sit inside or out with the view of Lake Windermere. Everything from soups, sandwiches, salads and meals followed by cakes. Good value.

This is a great location to enjoy a great meal or just a coffee. Take a window seat and enjoy the view of the river flowing from lake Windermere. Take the motor museum next door or make the most of the walks around the area. The food is good with a varied menu the service is not quick and if... More

Whilst attached to the museum the cafe has its own style and atmosphere. A varied menu of good home cooked food served without much wait by friendly staff. An excellent lunch spot.

The place is also spotless too If I lived near hear or was in the area again I'd come back here just... More

We visit Cafe Ambio regularly when we stay in the Lakeland Village 2 mins away. Staff are friendly, food is always well cooked and presented superbly. The atmosphere is great for families, you can be as noisy or quiet as you like. Sunday lunch is very good value, and breakfasts are to die for! Afternoon tea and cakes are great... More

Just had lunch here , the burger , slaw and chips were great value and worth the visit , a shame the decaff coffee was a little tasteless. Addding toasted sandwiches might earn the extra star

We enjoyed a lovely hot drink with a delicious piece of cake on a recent trip to the lakeland motor museum. Situated on the waters edge, the cafe ambio was the perfect ending to a great trip
