My husband and I dined for lunch while visiting Tybee Island. We had read this was one of the best places to eat in the area. I ordered the shrimp Po boy, which was a mistake. It's not a pool boy it's really a shrimp...More

We toured the Southeast for a couple of weeks in May 2017. On Tybee Island, this was the only restaurant that locals suggested to us. It's unprepossessing, if not nondescript, from the outside. However, the food and service is GREAT. Our waitress was fast and...More

Our family of four (we have two girls age 5 and 9) visited Sundae Cafe for lunch upon our first day arriving to the island. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and how friendly our waitress, Amy was. She was great to talk to...More

Fantastic lunch! My husband and I both got a cheese burger, they were Great! Got a side salad instead of fries, delicious! Peanut butter creame pie is a MUST. Very large portion, definitely share worthy.

It doesn't look like much from the outside as it's in a strip attached to a gas station but once you go inside it's a very nice restaurant. Amy was a very good waitress and the food was delicious. Best burger I've had in a...More

As locals we eat lunch here about once a week. Their lunch specials are always great. It's a good deal too. There are generally two choices of a main entree, a choice of 2 sides and a drink for around $10. It's not the prettiest...More

You could easily miss this gem of a cafe. It is in a strip mall type setting and is not impressive looking on the outside. A good friend had recommended it so we hunted it down and had lunch there. Nice decor, friendly service, and...More

My friend told me to make sure I eat here while at Tybee but we had a hard time finding it. We drove the strip several times before we spied it tucked away by a convenience store. We went for lunch at it was amazing....More

Like other reviewers, I also think this place looks unappealing from the outside. However, once you sit down, you feel a different vibe. Dark and inviting, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner here. The server was not the best (could not remember...More

We are pleased that you enjoyed our local caught shrimp and grits. As for the server not knowing the beer, we do change them out pretty often so they should ask the bartender before the shift begins. We hope that the little things won't keep...More

By far the best restaurant in Greater Savannah, and it's only steps away from our beach condo. We've been going there for more than 10 years, but it's not only the food that brings us back. Jame McCoy is one of the most talented bartenders...More
