We ordered a variety of cuts and everyone's steak was prepared perfectly. The rolls and honey butter was delicious. Service was great. Only complaint - our veggies were too salty, we could not eat them (four different orders). Would come back.

Staying up in Blanchard, ID, but drove down to Coeur D'Alene just to eat at Wolf Lodge Inn. Had heard rave reviews from family/friends who had discovered this little gem. I'm not much of a meat eater, so had halibut, but the steak lovers I was with said their meals were delicious. Splurged on raspberry cheesecake for dessert - my... More

I drive from west of Spokane out to the eastern end of the lake to enjoy what I view as the best steak around. They cook their steaks over a old fashioned fire. The steaks are so juicy and tender you can cut them with a fork. It is worth the trip. If you haven't been to the original Wolf... More

Highly recommended it, told it was the best steak in town but don't forget your wallet. A bit pricey but worth it. We will go back.

To begin with, the restaurant was very busy! The service was slow, took almost 30 minutes to get our server! Another 15 minutes for our soup & salads, another 25 minutes for our main course, which was totally screwed up. First we were given the wrong orders, had to switch them around the table, my order was missing the steak... More

Went to this restaurant with locals, who had talked it up as being a great steak house. Well it lived up to its reputation with great steaks, good beer and excellent service. I had one of the best prepared steaks ever at this property. Loved it.

This restaurant is full of history. It is a little bit of a drive but worth the trip. You definitely need reservations and the food was excellent. We had great service too. Beware of the seating. If they are busy you might get placed at a very uncomfortable picnic table. Just say no and they will graciously move you.

Read several reviews and had to give it a shot. Off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Had the Filet and a couple skewers of the Shrimp appetizers. The Filet, done medium rare, was perfect. The shrimp a nice compliment. Servers were very good and friendly. I'll go back!

I have had dinner at the Wolf Lodge about a half dozen times over the last 10 or so years. The food and service have always been great. Last visit I had the filet and a baked potato. The filet was cooked just right, tender and very tasty. About a year ago, I tried the fish--halibut--and it was outstanding. The... More

You know you are at a great restaurant when even the seafood is awesome. Atmosphere is old time steakhouse the servers are friendly and very attentive. I was going to get a steak but I was not that hungry as the steaks are huge. The tiger shrimp were very large and they give you a serving of 14 ounces. The... More
