My husband and I were driving and decided to stop for dinner. We knew nothing about this restaurant, but it looked nice and it was right on the river. Friendly service and really good food. I had wild salmon and it was delicious. We sat next to the window to a great view. I would absolutely eat here again and... More

We had dinner here and it was really good. My husband had the burger and really enjoyed it. I had the chicken noodle soup which had homemade noodles. It was really delicious and hearty. I appreciated the fresh parsley on it too, gave it a nice fresh flavor. We each had the bread pudding which I highly recommend. It was... More

We saw they were on Chef Ramsey's Hotel Hell, and since it's close by, we decided to go there for lunch. The lodge and restaurant are beautiful and clean. We sat by the window and watched the river, fishermen and birds, it was stunning. I ordered chicken strips and my husband got the fish and chips. They were both delicious.... More

This restaurant is locally owned and hand built by the owner and his family. It’s located is in a rustic setting in the family friendly sports and recreation mecca of Island Park, ID. As soon as you enter the hotel, you feel like a member of the family, where you are surrounded by a beautiful and open natural wood and... More

We decided to try Angler's knowing their appearance on Hotel Hell. I ordered a Cesar salad and I didn't know you could screw that up. The dressing was horrible and tasted like pure mayonnaise. My husband ordered a burger and it was dry and over cooked. The waitstaff was slow and there was only 1 other table in the whole... More

We went here after watching Hotel Hell with Gordon Ramsey. We are from Alabama and were staying in Island Park for vacation in Yellowstone. Most of our party got the trout and found it to be delicious. I got the steak and although it was cooked perfectly to temperature I found it lacking a little seasoning. My sister in law... More

We stopped at the restaurant for sandwiches on a wet day and ended up staying at the Lodge. The dinner served in the Restaurant was excellent and the rainbow trout tasted superb. There is plenty of seating most of which overlooks the river. Good choice of wines and local beers to add to the enjoyment.

We spent one night at the Angler's Lodge and though the accommodations were okay, semi-rustic lodge, there were a number of things that weren't ready for customers. The restaurant wasn't open for dinner, though they gave us a great recommendation to go to the Trout Hunter down the highway. It was great by the way. They did serve breakfast, but... More
