This place is still in business only because this eatery (I can't dignify it with the designation of restaurant) is next door to the Shilo Inn and anything other than Jack in the Box requires climbing back into the car and driving. The hotel offers vouchers for a reduced price breakfast at the Canyon. Cold hashbrowns, burnt sausage, and mealy... More

Front end staff slow, distracted. My husband's food was cold. (Hashbrowns) link sausage was not cooked very well. Brown on one side only. Food not seasoned. Our waitress was good. There were five separate wait staff at our table at one time. Most of them ran around here to there very disorganized. One lady firgot to bring my coffee, then... More

We went here a couple of weeks ago in December 2016 and it was a chilly evening and I wanted soup. they did not have any. We were having a 1 hour meeting, so we decided to just have water. The water was disgusting. We were told that Canyon Creek had been bought out and will be converted to a... More

This restaurant/bar is next to the Shilo Inn. Shilo offers a complimentary breakfast with room, so we were given vouchers for this restaurant. The restaurant carpet was extremely worn along with the dinette upholstery. Pretty tattered. During our stay, they were clearly understaffed. So of course, service was slow. Staff was pleasant, but obviously stressed over the situation. Breakfast one... More

Every year, our family has a standing Family Reunion at Canyon Creek. The whole family from around the country knows that we meet at noon at Canyon Creek on the Saturday before Memorial Day. Those that can make it come and those that can't don't. The staff and management have have been so gracious and flexible about the arrangements. We... More

Stopped in for lunch, waited 35 minutes to order, We were almost the only ones in the place, an hour later our food came and it was horrible. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger and when it came out all it had was a burger & cheese, no ketchup, mustard, onion, pickle, lettuce, onion or anything, when she asked she... More

Stopped in there because I thought it was still a Elmer's. Ha Ha far cry from that. Never got our water we ordered twice, no one hardly in the place and our food took forever. Tasted like yesterdays leftovers. Really need to have a little training on Customer service and maybe they should all read the Book "The Raving Fan"... More

The saving grace of the Canyon Creek is that it is just across the parking lot from the Shilo Inn. The service is friendly, if not necessarily speedy, the menu choices are limited, and the preparation isn't all that good. For example, I ordered onion rings as a side dish to go with main supper dish, but the breading (doughy... More

Pleasant clean surroundings. Average cafe american food. I would suggest a sandwich rather than a "dinner" plate, unless you don't mind meat and potatoes and gravy and vegetables from cans and freezers. The servers did great!!! Thank you to them!!

The people were nice, but the food had no flavor (relate it to hospital food) and the restaurant was completely empty at 7:30pm. The conference room had a group of mostly elderly men in it and the karaoke machine from the attached bar resonated into the empty restaurant.
