I was pleasantly surprised to find this spot as it's the only place around for miles. We stayed the night next door and walked over to find this place with good meal variety and excellent Huckleberry ice cream.

Great experience, warm @ comfortable accommodations. Hearty food, and friendly folks. It is located right on the Salmon River, and you can walk to great steelhead runs w/in minutes. For the avid steelhead fly fisherman, this is an amazing deal .

My wife and I stopped here on 8/31/16 for lunch after our explorations on some of the forest roads in our Jeep. As a disabled veteran I look at cafe/restaurants with a different eye than some patrons. Very clean facility, restrooms ADA and no smell,...More

You have a little of everything here. There is a cafe, gift shop, and supply shop. We only are breakfast here but it was good and there was lots of food. People there are very friendly and helpful.

We had a quick stop for Lunch. The BLT had tons of nice crispy thick bacon. The fries were okay. My husband enjoyed his burger. Good fry sauce too.

This is located a short walk from the North Fork Lodge where we stayed. A nice combination of cafe and store (with Liquor). It's a small cafe, but they do have a nice patio, although it wasn't patio weather when we were there. You order...More

We came with family, including small children, for dinner. The menu looked OK -- mostly fried foods -- and ordered at the counter. The wait was fairly long and when the waitress delivered our meal it was mass confusion. One person got the wrong thing,...More

As the owner (After nine years, am I still "new"?) you maligned...and whom you've never met...I want to say I'm sorry you didn't have a positive experience at our business. I spoke with the three employees involved (server, manager, and chef) and they have a...More

Jim, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I am guessing from the consistency of your complaint and the shared hometown, that you came in with Sharon. Being provided bad information is absolutely not acceptable. We addressed the service and information issue once...More

The Village Cafe is an unexpected treat in a remote area. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, the Cafe is open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner. The menu features a great selection of hand-pressed hamburgers, signature sandwiches and a local favorite, fish and chips. Many of our cafe customers never sit down-they're standing in line at the counter for one of our famous huckleberry milkshakes! We feature hand-scooped ice cream-in a dish... A cone... A milkshake... Or a malt. We have 12 delicious flavors, but huckleberry is the star! Other featured homemade desserts include Dutch apple pie and blackberry cobbler. From early September through late May, we serve dinner to our lodge guests (the meal is included in the room rate!) And our RV guests who choose to buy in to the dinner program. After the cafe closes for the season (after Labor Day weekend), the dining room is converted to a gathering room with comfy chairs, warm fire, Wi-Fi access, big screen TV, books and games for our lodge guests. The continental breakfast and dinner included in the lodge room rates are served in this area at designated times.
