We really want to see this little brewery do well. They're committed to healthy food and brewing their own great beers. I tasted the Cherry Hazelnut and it was delicious. The kitchen can get backed up at noon, but the food that comes out is delicious. My son "won" lunch by ordering the small Italian Grinder. It's like a pizza... More

I enjoy PVB alot, usually get great service, find their food to be high quality, and the rotation of musicians is great for the atmosphere. The outdoor porch in the back is great for watching trains during warmer weather, and upstairs is a great place for events, which are frequently happening here. Also, they deliver now and you can get... More

PVB is a pretty popular place in Pocatello, and it's generally not populated by undergrads. Its clientele is mainly faculty and other professional types. Every once in a while, faculty hold informal gatherings on the top floor, and frequently there is also some live music. The menu is creative, portions are large, prices are reasonable. They have great T-shirts for... More

Went on business dinner, and was pleased with the service, food, beer and atmosphere. I had the Mini Pizza and thought it was pretty good for a made from scratch pizza. Their Beer is phenomenal.

Went there for a business lunch. Nice atmosphere. Menu isn't too large, but good choices. I had a mini pizza and it was very good. Co-worker had a bowl of soup and it was HUGE! Didn't get a chance to try the beers on this trip.

I always get a good meal there, fair pricing and hosts special events. In the back is a kids friendly area and upstairs accompanies large groups. The personnel treat you like family and always ready to help, great service!! This restuarant in also a micro brewery so be sure to try their micro-brews.

We made our semi annual trip to Pocatello and stopped in after seeing reviews. Our estimation is EXCELLENT in all aspects. The beer was great, sampled a seasonal offering espresso stout that was incredible and then enjoyed Krystal Weizen with our lunch - Spicy sausage sandwich and mini Hawaiian pizza, both very good. Actually, the best pizza I've had. It... More

Stopped by while in town to tour ISU campus. Ordered nachos and pizza, with a couple beers and a sarsaparilla on the side. Pizza was really good, the crust had a touch of sweetness. Overall the nachos were good (fresh ingredients and plentiful), but the chipotle chicken was the star of that dish, Great location with character. There were a... More

Just had dinner at Portneuf Valley Brewing. Even though it was very highly rated, I was not overwhelmed by the quality of the food. Apparently all the breads and pizza dough are made in house, and I should have tried some, but I felt like something else. The food was good, the service was good, but nothing about the meal...
