This is a lovely calm pub, with a lot of character. It does very excellent food and some fine ale, such as the extremely local Long Man beer. Great start to a lovely weekend away.

It's a lovely characterful pub with terrific views of the downs. The service is friendly and helpful but a bit busy and so slowish to respond. Sunday Lunch was good - roast pork - all ok not stunning.

The menu isn't extensive but its changed and there should be something for everyone. Some lo-cal dessert would be nice. I'm sure your creativity...More
