My daughter and now my son-in-law just recently had their wedding at Villa Conti Winery in Warkworth. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Tomasso and Bambina are the perfect hosts. So kind, friendly and helpful. Doesn't matter what your event is, you have to make...Villa Conti your first choice. You will not be disappointed.More

We were a group of 4 woman, we had a great time due to our company, unfortunately the waitress basically did not know anything we asked !!! Said was a full bar but everything we asked for they did not have?? Finally 3 of us...decided on a cider, oh yup we have that? Comes back with 2? That’s all they had??? We ordered 2 wine testers to split, which she brought 1 at a time with enough in glass for half a sip?? Was 10 min in between waiting for next tester?!!! By the time we got through the 4 we asked which was the 1st? She could not remember !!!! We did however have a few drinks each & a couple of glasses of wine each. Our meals were good not amazing. We had ceaser salad to start was good but no bacon? Our main meals were pretty good. We then ordered Spanish coffee after our meals which took roughly 20 min, by the way there was roughly 3 tables there! 3 of us ordered a pizza to take home, which were $28 but quite large. Our bills were seperate and mine was $181.00?? The 4 of us spent a total of almost $700!!! Little steep for what we had. I have never minded spending on good food but the service ruined it for us!! Again food was Pretty good, not fantastic pizza good but service was terrible!!! All of us felt the same & won’t go back.More

Four of us had a lovely lunch on Sunday afternoon Sept. 27th 2020. The weather was very warm and the view from the outdoor table was wonderful. The lunch was fantastic, including the service. Our only negative was that in previous reviews, pizza was mentioned...several times. Pizza was not on the menu so not sure why or how this was the case.More

I went with a friend on the Friday and we liked it so much we went back the next day with 2 more friends. On the Friday, we sat inside and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much. On the Saturday we sat outside...and the countryside is beautiful. Everything tasted delicious and the price is very reasonable. Both of the owners are very welcoming and the wine is also very good.More

This was the freshest, most delicious pizza I have had in a long time! And the size of the LARGE was huge! Will definitely be ordering again soon.

Table outside was nice and service was pretty good. Unfortunately food was bad and I barely made it back to Belleville to my toilet afterwards only 45 minutes away. My lunch partner and daughter "Shayne" experience similar problems soon after eating here. Very disappointing after...a $100 lunch for just 2 to have this happen. Beware!!More

This hidden gem is definitely worth the drive. When you arrive at the property, you will immediately be enthralled with the rolling Northumberland County hills and picturesque winery scenery. Just arriving feels like an escape. The restaurant manages to combine classy and rustic, going with...a sort of log chalet look. I came for the pizza (takeout), hearing wonderful things from many people, and was not disappointed. The pizzas are giant, the toppings are high quality, the sauce is flavorful, the crust is delicious - definitely not a thin crust. This is not a Pizza Pizza knock off, this stuff is legit, and the price is extremely reasonable under any standard, let alone for what you get. We ordered a meat lovers and a deluxe, and both were awesome. Also ordered a "large" caesar salad...should have been called enormous. Literally the only thing I can criticize came at this point: the croutons were a little soggy when I got the order home, if you are ordering this salad for takeout, get the croutons on the side and add them when you get home. A little bacon would have been nice, too. You can see I'm trying hard to find something wrong here...hehe.. Overall, the experience was great, we are going back a week later to get food for our family gathering. The owners are wonderful, this will be a regular destination for our family. So glad to have found this beautiful spot, looking forward to eating in house once this crazy virus is in the rear view.More

A warm welcome with careful attention to COVID protocol. We chose to sit on the patio with a great view of the vineyard. A shared Caprese salad with goat cheese made on site was an outstanding starter followed by two special pasta dishes - penne...with sausage and manicotti. Too full for dessert we felt that we escaped to Italy if only for an afternoon. Highly recommended.More

Pretty venue. Very friendly staff and great service. Everything is farm to table fresh. Owner likes to check in on everyone during meals which is nice, however we were uncomfortable that he was not wearing a mask and talking to close to us. Some servers...not wearing masks properly. Owners need to be more cognizant of the comfort levels of patrons. Would recommend.More

Reserved lunch on the patio after our stay at Whispering Springs. Very friendly staff, homemade dishes. They make their own goat cheese. Fresh homemade pasta was delicious and a perfect view of the vines. Worth a visit if you are near by.

There are plenty of dishes from pastas to meats you could eat (fettucini with shrimp or mushrooms, lamb chops, veal chop, veal and chicken parmesan, among others). Just be sure to let your server know ahead of time and they... More
