Set in an elegant restored country house, The Grove was a good choice for a lunchtime meal. On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming, and a little apologetic that we were the only diners ( a business group were dining in another room) so...More

An extremely attractive traditional venue, country house, panelled walls, probably even a ghost. The staff very frigid at first, didn't take our coats but asked if we'd like 'cocktails' before proceeding to the table. The food, however, was very good indeed, and the dessert, banoffee, quite...More

We went for a light lunch. Beware the new electric gates, that are grindingly slow to open! We all had snacks, which took an age to arrive. It wasn't busy. All were nicely presented and mostly tasty. Mushroom (it said mushrooms, but there was just...More

The Grove is the kind of mini-break destination that couples the country over dream of escaping to. Surrounded by meadows of wildflowers in Narbeth, Pembrokeshire, this hidden gem boasts the perfect mix of boutique-chic style and down-to-earth, countryside charm and the hotel restaurant is a chilled and discreet spot for business dining, romantic tte-a-ttes and afternoon tea parties.
