We had late dinner at 10pm. Maybe Chef was tired and tapas were cold. Service was average but wine list is good. Maybe I will try to go early next time before making final evaluation.

We had breakfast here during our stay at the Blackstone. The service was not great and we were one of only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time. The food was fine, but nothing great.

We had the tasting menu at brunch, relaxed tapas style but impeccable food. The dining room overlooks Michigan and the park across the street. Service was great!

In the land of heaping plates and comfort food, it is refreshing to find a restaurant that offers so many tasty and attractive options. Despite an aversion to a quantity approach, I still had reservations about small plates or tapas. I guess I'm not alone,...More

Mercat a la Planxa is a great restaurant. The food is outstanding. Very nicely prepared. Of all the dishes we had, the flatbreads were particularly good. We enjoyed the beef short rib so much, we opted for another with wild mushrooms and sausage. This place...More
