Met another couple for dinner. The tables are so close that you are almost touching the people next to you. And it is very loud. The food was excellent and he desserts wonderful but avoid if you want conversation during your dinner.

This was our first time eating at Rosebud’s. We selected this restaurant because of its positive reviews and proximity to the CIBC Theatre. Three of us ordered the petit filet. The filet’s were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We had two orders of asparagus. We...More

Starting with the bourbon at the bar with the very personable bartender, Nick, to the amazing coconut cake, which is big enough for 4 people, our dinner was memorable. The service is so friendly and helpful and the food is superb. The salads and sides,...More

Had an absolutely lovely meal here before the theater. The staff were all extremely attentive, and well aware of the constraints of theatregoers. We had a booth for just the two of us which for an evening dinner was quite surprising and very elegant. The...More

The service was pretentious & not responsive. They pretend to be an upscale restaurant and yet their food lacked flavor and was not properly prepared. My son ordered a simple hamburger cooked medium. The burger was dark red in the middle and not warm. A...More

I dine out frequently in Chicago. I picked this restaurant because it was convenient between the theatre and symphony. I had been there for lunch and it was good, but never dinner, so had no specific expectations. The Caesar salad was not very good--too lemony....More

I was there on Feb 19, 2018 and it was recommended to me by Hyatt hotel down the street. I ordered Filet Bernese sauce and Cesar salad. The Cesar salad had so much dressing, it literally didn't go down, I asked them to replace it,...More

Been here a few times before but this time we were disappointed. The brick chicken recipe changed to too much lemon and too much spice. The lobster mashed potatoes which was a special request had he lobster over cooked. Too bad

Definitely at the higher end of the price scale, but not extravagant. Main courses for dinner run around $25 to $50. They have a good wine list that can push the total cost up quite a bit if you partake.
