I've been hearing about this place for over a year, and finally discovered what the hype is about. The food was excellent and our waiter was very knowledgable of the menu which lead to great recommendations. We waited about 2 hours for a table, but...More

I like trying different foods (don't get me wrong), but this was just a tad too unique for me. That being said, sat at bar & had fantastic service! If you are into this type of food, you will love this place!

We had an hour and sat at the bar for a quick bite. The bartender was friendly, informative and most of all efficient! We ordered the foie gras torchon, the octopus and the pork shank to share. The foie gras was a bit sweet for...More

The food here is wonderful and so much to choose from. Just try to get there as early as you can, they don't take reservations and it gets crowded quickly but it is definitely worth the wait.

We always come to "The Pig" and this time we brought my siblings. It didn't disappoint. Although it is always crowded (shared table establishment) you can always perch at a table in their heated waiting area. Not to be missed: fried pigs ear, beets with...More

Worth the wait for dinner. We enjoyed the family-style seating. Service was friendly and we enjoyed interacting with the other people at our table. Food was creative and fun. The highlight of our meal was the lemon panna cotta. We will definitely return on our...More

Went for lunch. 35 minute wait, not bad at all. Restaurant seats most patrons at community tables with high chairs, again not really an issue. But the table was situated that the chair was going downhill and I would have been wobbling my whole meal,...More

This was by far our best stop in Chicago. The knowledge of the staff on wine was unreal. The food was fast, unique, and delicous. I feel bad about rating other restaurants a 5 after being here. I will definitely be coming back.

Went here back in October. Had a bottle of wine and cheese. Was a unique setting and nice to have again. Will continue to come back here in the future for elegance and it is right on Michigan Avenue on the River North area.

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
