The cafe is a great location on the river walk, one of the few. We sat at one of the tables and even though it was not full, service took a long time. We ordered a few apps and drinks all served in plastic cups...More

Staff no too friendly; slow (would rather talk to others than come see you while sitting at the bar); wine was awful

Very nice view, decent burgers and that's about it. The martini I had was about half of a plastic cup for which I was charged $15. This would therefore be a contender for the most overpriced martini in the city. The steak sandwich was inedible....More

Took for ever to be seated even though there were empty tables - over ten minutes without anybody coming to greet us. The food was OK, but served on paper plates and plastic glasses. Very pleasant surroundings. We never got a "glass" of wine we...More

We enjoyed our dinner at this place. The food is good but the service was slow. The Cobb Salad was very good and the grilled chicken sandwich was good. Drinks are somewhat pricey but this is the Riverwalk in Chicago. All of the negatives were...More

Had lunch, a $91 lunch for 4. We had a cold corn beef sandwich on stale bread, a burger, two people shared the quesadilla, hummus, 2 beers, and 2 glasses of wine. It's nice sitting by the water.

We were tired of walking along the riverwalk so we decided to just sit down and have lunch here at O'Brien's....not a fan of the food, just plain blah. The prices are high, but I'm guessing that's because you are on the riverwalk - I...More

Food and Drinks are served on paper plates and plastic cups. I had the ‚Decomposed Cesar Salad‘ with chicken which was meant all the ingredients of a Cesar salad were not tossed but separately arranged, with the salad leafs not chopped. The dressing (Newman’s Own)...More

It's a wonderful place to have lunch, outside, along the river....people watching & boat watching, very nice. The service I would rate as ok...while our server was very personable and helpful, he was overwhelmed (it was a beautiful warm fall saturday, so place was packed)...More

No there is no indoor seating. Not sure if it is open as the Weather gets cooler. It is a great water view location to eat. Unfortunately I do not live in Chicago . Hope this helps!
