Over the past two months, my wife and I have met friends who were visiting Chicago at the Wyndam Grand Chicago Riverfront Hotel, once for breakfast and once for dinner. On both occasions, it was a great way to start and end the day. Located at 71 East Upper Wacker Drive, Hoyt's Tavern has panoramic views of the Chicago River... More

We are staying at the Wyndham Grand and did not want to venture far for supper so we decided to visit Hoyt's off of the lobby. After a long day we decided to get our meal to go and enjoy it in our room. We had a cheeseburger and Rueben sandwich which were well prepared and very tasty. A salad... More

The macaroni was great... pretzel bites in cheddar beer sauce yummy. Wings not so great. Seemed like pre cooked... not fresh. But all else was good and server was friendly and attentive.

Had breakfast at Hoyt's and ordered the Bananas Foster French Toast. It was delicious. It was late morning and there weren't a lot of diners so the food came pretty quick. Nothing else was needed with my meal but my daughter ordered the Waffle Tower, which she said was good but there was no butter. We would have asked for... More

I waited at the bar for 10 minutes to order food to take back to my hotel. Then I gave up after notifying a waitress and still not getting served.

The food is good and the customer service is excellent. Easy dinner option for a weary traveler staying in the hotel.

We are staying at the Wyndham Riverfront in Chicago and arrived yesterday just about dinner time, so tried Hoyt's as the restaurant looked contemporary and inviting at the hotel. The staff members were friendly and engaging, especially our server, Joshua. My salmon dinner with black lentils and shaved fennel and baby arugula was outstanding. My husband's meal was good, but... If you're in the mood for a well prepared grill salmon, this is the place! It came with black lentils and squash, ice had it twice before on previous trips!
