Nice, cozy sitting area. Delicious cupcakes that are not overly sweet. Some quirky and creative decorations depending on the time of year.

I thought the variety was creative, however the flavors I ate tasted too similar. Typically, one would make a buttercream and then add flavoring, etc. I think adding paste is much more effective without ruining the texture. As with most cupcake places, the icing is overwhelming, and the cakes are sugary and tasteless. Staff was very polite and answered all... More

first, i do not gravitate towards desserts but wanted to try these cupcakes! My husband and I split the apple crumb cupcake - it was moist and delicious! On the second day we had the peanut butter- it was a little rich for us, but very moist. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful!

I decided to give Crumbs a try since I was visiting the Water Tower even though I read many bad reviews before. I purchased the Happy Birthday to You cupcake. It was dry and had no real flavor. The icing was hard. I would recommend going to the place near crumbs that serves cupcakes. Cheaper and better tasting!

Okay, so their obviously visible menu has prices listed BUT when you pay they are charging you 75 cents to a dollar MORE per cupcake with the excuse that the light is off on the menu and they haven't had a chance to update it yet. That's illegal, fraud, and classic bait and switch. I told them that while they... More

We first ran across Crumbs in NYC. It was less than 2 minutes away from our hotel. We were so excited. This time we brought two dozen home for friends and family. Our favorite are the lemon, apple cobbler, and carrot. If there's a Crumbs in the vicinity, we'll find it.

While attending a conference in Chicago a colleague of mine and I visited Crumbs at Water Tower Place. Paid $3.50 for an obviously several days old milkshake cupcake. Stale cake, hard frosting and like eating cardboard. Have visited other locations before but will never again visit the Water Tower location.

Sharing a red velvet cupcake with a girlfriend was a great way to take a break after hours of shopping along Magnificent Mile. The cupcake was moist and tasty - yummy! We will definitely try other flavors on our next return visit.

The display and cupcakes look delicious at first, but I've had plenty of better cupcakes. Maybe its the one I tried, but hopefully others are better for the price

I love to bake cupcakes so I started a cupcake crawl. Everytime I am going somewhere I look up the cupcake stores nearby. This is in a tiny shop but did not disappoint. $3.95 for a large cupcake and had lots to choose from. Loved the GS lemon shortbread. We also liked the coconut and milkeshake ones. So reviews say...
