Food this great non tourist bar while walking on a Sunday in Chicago. Was able to watch some football. Great waitress. Great salad and burger. Menu selection was good and prices were reasonable. Loved the fries. Would go back next time we come to Chicago. Beer selection was good as well.

Excellent and friendly service on a busy Saturday afternoon. Appetizers are 1/2 price from 3-5 - we tried the nachos (tasty and plentiful but get soggy due to the chili) and chicken tenders (standard fare, does not include fries), plus added a grilled cheese (very tasty but not worth $9.95). Reasonable dinner for families if you can take advantage of... More

We really enjoyed Rudy's. Found it not to be touristy and the prices were very reasonably for the downtown area. My husband had fish and chips and I had a Santa Fe chicken sandwich and we were both more than satisfied with our food and the price. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent selection of burgers served with an out of sight pretzel roll. The coleslaw was terrific as well. Good beer selection. Waitress was friendly and professional and the place had a good vibe.More local than tourist which was just fine. Will definitely go back.

I asked for a medium rare breakfast burger but they brought me another specialty: a burnt burguer with burnt fries.

Service here is excellent, bar staff really friendly. Ordered a cup of chilli. Good kick, one of the best in Chicago. Then had the Rudy's Signature Burger, and oh my goodness, unbelievable. Such a good burger. With Pepper, Garlic, Onion in the patty, and must be cooked on a flame thrower, charcoaled perfectly on the outside, and nice cooked inside,... More

We were looking for a great burger in a not tourist pub and this was it. Fun waitress, fun atmosphere, and very good food. The manager made sure everything was good.

Seemed like basic bar food that is familiar to many people. After several nights of having strange food in fine dining places, it was a breath of fresh air. Crowded, with tables close together, but they were able to squeeze in our party of 7. The wait staff was attentive and the food was good.

Stopped for dinner and had the fish and chips with a cup of chowder. The chowder tasted like it had been on the stove way too long...just salty brine really. The fish was mushy and tasteless. I won't be back.

Four of us had lunch and were extremely happy with our meal. Each one ordered something different and everything was excellent. Our waitress was new, but did an excellent job of taking care of us. Will definitely return.
