Very accommodating with my special request. Great menu and food was excellent. It was nice outside and I got to side in their sidewalk area. Will be back.

Great breakfast - highly recommend the stuffed French toast. Cute home made into multi-level café...though for those not able to do stairs, this is not the place for you. Excellent service, great breakfast options and a nice coffee menu. Definitely

When traveling, breakfast is often the meal that is the most difficult to get excited about. It is hard to go beyond the usually "bacon and eggs" rut! That's why my wife and I were so happy to find the Sunny Side Up Cafe near Holy Name Cathedral. Located in an old brownstone building (there are many stairs) we immediately... More

The breakfast was great! I got oatmeal and my boyfriend got eggs benedict. Perfection. Staff was friendly and the building itself has a nice homey feel.

Building with possible mob ties. Hugh Hefner owned house in the 40s. As for food - great portions. Had to do the Chicago Way. Potatoes cooked to perfection. Loved the rye toast. Server Angie was the best!

Our hotel told us about this place on a past visit to Chicago, a couple of years ago. We loved it, but lost track of where it was for future visits to the city. Happened to pass it during a recent trip, and couldn't wait to go back. Once again, it didn't disappoint. Any place that you can't get out... More

Enjoyed breakfast this morning at Sunny Side Up. Housed in a beautiful historic building, the multiple levels adds to the experience. Menu items were varied and we enjoyed seeing various items delivered to nearby diners. We enjoyed a classic breakfast but will return to try some of the other options

This past week I had to be in Chicago for 3 days. On my first morning I happened to come across "Sunny Side Up" on East Superior Street. I must say it IS Sunshine on a Chicago morning !! They have a very diverse morning menu. The place is in an old restored Chicago style brownstone. Be advised the street... More

This was okay the service was kind of rude the host handed us menus and told us to go to the table in the back which was just rude. The food was okay besides the stuffed French toast my gf got was amazing.

Thank Jacob B
