This is a terrific restaurant in River North with a great and diverse menu. They have great sushi and other menu offerings aside from sushi as well. My husband and I went after our neighbor raved about it. She was spot on. Very good food, and contrary to other reviews, the prices were very reasonable ( we thought even a... More

They were just about to close but let us order take out. Really good food, nice flavours. Looked like a nice restaurant to eat in.

I like this place a lot. Familiar Japanese restaurant, but good food and nice atmosphere. Not far from the main Downtown attractions, but off he main roads

We came here because Lou Malnati's was going to be an hour wait and this place is up a few blocks. We had two children with us and they seemed to respond well to the calming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and very nice. The sushi was very good and seemed fresh. I don't like spicy food so I had... More

Small but good sushi restaurant. I liked very much sashimi plate and tempura mix. Nothing very special. But typically this is a good place if you want to change from US steak house. Modern and comfortable. I usually visit this place while in business in Chicago. Near old center and near Blue Chicago bar (N Clark Str) and orher great... More

Went there with a few coworkers for lunch during the week (not crowded). Large sushi/sashimi section offering cooked food as well. was a little pricey. There were 8 of us in the group, and they were able accommodate us easily. They offer outdoor seating. The entrance is actually off to the side and if it wasn't for some people who... More

Nothing fancy inside or out, but the sushi chefs were friendly and talkative...even though they were all Chinese. I think I had the best Spanish Mackerel sushi I've ever had. They must brush the fish with something. The Uni and all the fish varieties I tried were fresh, but that Spanish Mackerel was special. The Asahi beer is served in... More

No toro. No eel cucumber salad. But they had white tuna and aji which were fab. The scallop/avocado hand roll was quite good. Only thing that screws this place is the music. Muzak is awful, cheapening this place terribly.

I found the price-quality relationship to be favorable to the customer at this place. We didn't eat many dishes, but the rolls we had all exceeded expectations. The service definitely was attentive. They are generous with the hot towels, a sign they pay attention to small details. I don't go to the U.S. often but always thought for good Japanese... More

Well for a start no-one in there is Japanese, staff or customers, which may affect the taste... The atmosphere is one of being in a kitchen, people reaching over you (I sat at the counter) talking over your head to the chef. Almost brushing into you as they take the food off the counter in front of you. Pretty bad,... More
