no matter what you ask. all is delicious. nothing sophisticated but you can recall old times looking around. it is loud and crowded. nevertheless is part of the moment

Corned beef hash and eggs the week before St. Patrick's day. It was so delicious, just as I remembered. Don't miss the donut holes.
Classic Chicago establishment I enjoyed for breakfast! Staff was very friendly and had a great server, Yvonne, who recommended I try an omelette as the were a specialty there. Boy was she right, fluffiest ,tastiest one I've ever had. I'm glad I listened to her recommendation!
Apparently the masses traveling up Route 66 cannot find a decent breakfast; I can't imagine what else accounts for the rating on this restaurant. This was my husband's favorite meal for our Chicago visit. The food was very good, they give you a huge plateful, and the waitress was very helpful. We went at 10 o'clock in the morning and it was still quite busy, but our wait was still minimal.

Very cool place to go. Definitely set back in time. You are greeted with a delicious donut. The seating is tight but intimate. The decor is a step back into time. what are the hours that Lou's is opened? I see a list and it list that they close at 3PM is this true??
