Enjoyed a delicious, filling breakfast. I had Eggs Benedict. My family had made-to-order omelettes. Everything was wonderful. The homemade bread was incredible.

Corned beef hash and eggs the week before St. Patrick's day. It was so delicious, just as I remembered. Don't miss the donut holes.

Classic Chicago establishment I enjoyed for breakfast! Staff was very friendly and had a great server, Yvonne, who recommended I try an omelette as the were a specialty there. Boy was she right, fluffiest ,tastiest one I've ever had. I'm glad I listened to her recommendation!

Apparently the masses traveling up Route 66 cannot find a decent breakfast; I can't imagine what else accounts for the rating on this restaurant. There are a few enjoyable dishes, particularly the Michigan omelet with chedder cheese and apple slices which blend nicely with the fried potatoes; pretty much anything else you order and it's on you. Coffee is so-so... More

This was my husband's favorite meal for our Chicago visit. The food was very good, they give you a huge plateful, and the waitress was very helpful. We went at 10 o'clock in the morning and it was still quite busy, but our wait was still minimal.

Great for breakfast. Went after the Chicago auto show. They have everything including homemade breads and pastries. Place is old but great since 1923.

Very cool place to go. Definitely set back in time. You are greeted with a delicious donut. The seating is tight but intimate. The decor is a step back into time. Lou Mitchell's is really a "blast from the past." The service is very good. The menu is large and has a lot to offer. The food was good diner... More
