I ate here with a colleague a week ago. At noon (when the restaurant was busy but not completely filled) the service was very slow - we waited maybe 45 minutes to get our food. Food was ordinary - nothing special - and prices were good but not great. I ordered a vegetarian dish and specified no fish or oyster... More

Fast service and excellent quality food. Also a very good selection. It is not like the Bangkok A list but really good for the US Thai restaurants.

I been here couple times already for lunch and inner. Large, modern style restaurant, clean, service fast and friendly. Food has nice taste, both thai dishes and sushi. I liked Tom Kha soup - thick and delicious. Spicy Basil seafood dish is typical thai dish, well cooked, fresh seafood. Sushi - I tried several rolls. Rice is good, various sushi... More

I love trying Thai in different cities and I have to say this might be the best! I had the Tom Yum soup, chicken satay and the chicken masaman. I came away stuffed! The masaman was awesome-could have been a little spicier. The Tom Yum was fresh and tasted as if it had just been made. Will definitely come back... More

We arrived in town on a Friday and were looking for an option that was close to our hotel and had non meat options. Thai Spoon was the perfect choice on all counts. We had pad thai which was delicious. I had tofu and my husband had shrimp. I have had problems with tofu being very chewy with this dish... More

Only had about 45 minutes for a quick lunch before some work meetings so came here and grabbed the lunch combos. Totally worth it and so quick. Had the fried rice special which was delicious.

A good food option if you're seeing a show (e.g., Auditorium) and want something decent, fast, and inexpensive. (Did I say fast? We were in at 6, out just past 6:30--and very pleasant service too.) Pad Khe Moa (wide noodles with chicken) pretty good. Tom Yum soup had a lot of fish taste in its broth (maybe made with leftover... More

That's it, regular. I absolutely love Thai food, and we wanted a restaurant close to our hotel, and we got exactly that. But I would not go there again, the food was just regular. Pro: Great location in downtown Chicago

Went for dinner with my wife during a conference, wanting a quiet place with good food. This place fit the bill. We got Pad Thai, Basil Beef, crab rangoon, egg rolls, and shu mai. All of it was good, as well as the Thai Iced Tea. Service was fine.

Under new ownership, and the traffic seemed light compared to last year. Maybe just coincidence? The bar license is not approved, so no alcohol. The lunch special was tasty, and priced right. Not needing to go out of the hotel lobby was a big plus, and the food was a lot more interesting than the Chicago Kitchen at the opposite... More
