Club Lucky is just fun. A busy restaurant has an old and familiar family-feel. We waited a bit for our table at a busy bar area with guests having fun. The menu option offered some well prepared starters and we all love our main meals. Most everyone had the pasta. We would go there again, tomorrow, especially for the warm... More

Can't believe I've not yet reviewed Club Lucky. Been going here for years and it has been a tried and true standby for delightful, legitimate, home style Italian food. Portion sizes are huge - sort of like what your Italian grandmother might pile on your plate cause you are a growing boy and need fed. Don't even get me started... More

Great Italian restaurant within the neighborhood. Food is fantastic and the service is too. Daily specials. Excellent calamari. Great bar and wine list also.

My wife had been here some time ago with friends and suggested it for dinner with our adult kids and us. A great choice for somewhere off the beaten path of the Chicago standbys and on the road to some really good Italian food! We were lucky enough to get a booth all the way in the front of the... I love Italian food and am always hunting for that elusive great place; be it fine dining or a neighborhood spot. One thing I love is the smell of garlic which is a key component of many fine Italian dishes. I made reservation and requested a boot as deplore sitting at a two top (lack of space on the table),... Located in one of Chicago's residential neighborhoods, Club Lucky offers a variety of tasty Italian options (chicken parmigiana is a favorite there)! Get set for a large portion for each course of the meal. Lots of seating, though reservation is recommended. Fun bar area too.

Great business/social dinner at Club Lucky. Old time supper club atmosphere. Good food, ambiance, great service. Italian specialties, but the menu is more than just Italian. Opened with a round of martinis and cheese/meat board. Dinner was exceptional from Italian, to lamb chops, to ribs. Never even opened the menu, our server made excellent suggestions. Good choice for business, family,... More

Traditional Italian restaurant with very good food. The eggplant parmigiana is perhaps the best in chicago. This is a favorite restaurant for lunch by some city employees who can go anywhere. In the summer there are some sidewalk tables which are dog friendly. For hearty Italian fare, hard to beat.

We were visiting our adult children in Chicago who chose Club Lucky to meet for dinner. They raved about the food, atmosphere and service, and it did not disappoint. We had reservations for 6:45 and were sat immediately. The server was attentive without being intrusive. So important. We ordered the meatball/salad and sausage/peppers appetizers for the table and they were... More

We loved this bar! Best drinks ever! Their mixologists are experts! Totally great neighborhood bar!!! We would visit it again and try the amazing food we saw pass us. We had a lovely meat and cheese platter while enjoying a great lemon drop!!

Description
Club Lucky features the hearty pastas, fresh seafood and classic dishes of Southern Italy, and Sicily; not forgetting to mention Chicago classics such as Chicken Vesuvio. Our house specialties range from daily handmade stuffed pastas to perfectly grilled steaks & chops. A mainstay in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area for over 20 years, upon entering you find brick walls, formica tables, and oversized Naugahyde booths that provide a genuine design element to complement “grandmother's recipes” on the Italian menu. All sauces & pastas are made on-site, and each recipe is made with what the Owners call “a little bit of love.” Some of the most sought-after dishes are the Lamb Chops, Antipasti Platters and Spinach Lasagna. Desserts are all housemade as well, with the profiteroles being the most popular. Our atmosphere is casual, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Club Lucky is perfect for a romantic date night or a large gathering of friends and family. Good Food and Fun!
