Not sure if my expectations were too high or what but our very expensive meal was just ho-hum. Service was excellent and we could not have had a better view. 2 in our group of 4 had the tasting menu. The only dish that stood...More

Incredible food....worth every penny! We ate at the Cafe (since they use the same kitchen) and all the hype did not disappoint. We were seated right by the window and had a wonderful view of Michigan Avenue, Lake Michigan and beyond. Wonderful service, great wine...More

Spiaggia has a great location and reputation. The service and attention to detail are excellent. Ingredients are fresh. It is expensive and a bit of the "emperor's new clothes". The food simply is not delicious. The cuisine is an attempt at the imaginative but in...More

We visited Spiaggia for dinner before seeing Hamilton. The decor and food were both very nice. The service was also good. We had the Gnocchi Di Cinghiale with the wild boar ragu and the Branzino.

We hosted a celebration for 70 in one of Spiaggia's private rooms and it was seamless. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing.

This review is for the Cafe as the main restaurant was closed for the Beard awards. The space is to the side of the beautiful main dining room and is quite spartan. Several dishes on the limited menu were not available and the wine list...More

We had a late night dinner here because another restaurant messed up our reservations. Nothing on the menu really appealed to us. Found it rather expensive for the portions. We ordered some appetizers but were not inpressed with anything. The service, however, was very good.

I took an out of town foodie friend here and was not disappointed. Seriously the best gnocchi I have had in years. Waygu starter, risotto, and the duck were excellent as well.

Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.

The menu itself is relatively small as its focused on fresh daily options. There are a few fish options. The menu is always on the website.
