My family met for a celebration dinner in honor of my sons university graduation. Our service was exceptional. Our server helped us with pairing wines to our individual orders. I personally would recommend The Mother-in-law, a cocktail twist on an Old Fashion that goes beyond...More

Higher priced but very good. Certified Angus beef was delicious. A la carte so charges for salads and sides. Excellent service. Drinks delicious. Specialty dishes recommended were very tasty. Desserts good too

We had the Sea Bass, very sweet and tender and a Delmonico steak, wonderful flavors. Potatoes Gratin were hard so sent back to kitchen. The waiter was ok, but had that “expensive restaurant” attitude. Took our order and did not see much of him again....More

My favorite part of the meal was the cocktails - they were superb - all around. We each tried a different option. The salads looked good, but I opted for the calamari, which was a bit greasy by comparison to some of my favorite places...More

Just had brunch at te Chicago Firehouse after a walk in the park. Great food, stellar service :) The place looks very nice inside. Not the cheapest place, but totally worthy. Would highly recommend it.

Visited the Chicago Firehouse for dinner, and it was good to be back at a neighborhood gem. This restaurant was damaged heavily by fire, and has re-opened in its original location. I love the expanded bar area, but I did go to the entrance on...More

Description
Rebuilt after a devastating fire, the second incarnation of this South Loop American eatery set in a former firehouse has an elegant, traditional look with plush booths, a tin ceiling and landscape murals. The decor befits its upscale, classic menu (think seafood towers, Dover sole, steaks) backed by a full bar including cocktails, punch bowls and a global wine list.
