We thoroughly enjoyed our tea time at the Russian Tea Time restaurant. They, our waiter, recommended a Russian tea, which turned out be rather good. All 3 of us actually enjoyed it. They then brought out two three-level carrying trays of pastries and finger sandwiches. It was all very good. I practically waddled out of the restaurant when we left.... More

A must try ! The food is delicious with a long list of choices, and an equally long list of artisan and import beers. We did not sample the traditional small bites that accompany their tea serving as we were hungry but people around us were enjoying them and they looked very appetizing. Servers are friendly and aimed to please.Good spot... More

We like this restaurant a lot. It is offering a very familiar dishes for our taste and very good quality too. Needles to say, that location is perfect near the Millennium Park and Chicago Art Institute. Visiting this place every time while in Chicago.

The borscht, piroshky and infused vodkas (my favorite was horseradish) are terrific. The atmosphere seems authentic, perhaps in part due to the fact that I always hear guests speaking in Russian. The wait staff has always been friendly, attentive and willing to make food recommendations. They also have a Russian Caravan tea that I just love. Every time I go... More

The positive was the service. The waitstaff was very attentive. Did not like the crowded feel of the room. There was very little room between the tables. Very disappointed in the food. It was extremely salty. I craved water for the rest of the night. The sausages were exceptionally greasy and the mash potatoes had no flavor. Also, the food... More

Went for the experience. Vodka sampler was great! Recommend that you order the variety plate to get a sense of the food. Overall, the food was OK, nothing great but the atmosphere was nice. Maybe a great spot for a light dinner butgo for the vodka!

I have been going here for years and have the joy to tell you that this food is made fresh and with quality ingredients! Service is professional and efficient. I have never had a bad meal here. They have lightened up the menu for some new summer dishes but the core menu items are fabulous. From appetizers, to drinks and... More

We come here every time we are in Chicago. This was a disappointing visit, we usually come for dinner and their food is incredibly tasty and authentic. This time we came for tea and it was disappointing. Selection of real teas is limited an there were no flavorful teas at all. House blend is weak and watery. The tea service,... More

Good service, great food although the main course portions were huge. Went twice. The first was on their Monday to Wednesday special, free borscht and salad with $25.00 meal. Returned on a Friday night where the food and service was still special.
