Awesome place. Every time I am in Chicago, if I can swing it, I come here. Love the double cheez burger and their buns. Delicious. Almost like Chinese food cause I eat it and I want more. Tables are comfy. Location is iconic. Seeing Royko items makes me nostalgic. So does thinking about the skit that made this place even... More

Please take the time to visit!!! So, so good! AND the service was AMAZING!!! I'm from a VERY small town and I wasn't worried a bit about bringing my 17 year old, 11 year old, & 6 year old there with just ME (I'm married, but my husband was at a conference all day)! I ❤the double Cheezborger!!!!

It's on lower Michigan so if you are not familiar with Chicago that might throw you off a bit. So you walk in and you realize this place has forgot time. Order your food. Don't ask for fries they don't have them. If you want a drink from the bar it's a separate bill. You can have the following toppings... More

We met a friend for lunch here when we first got to Chicago. It was a cool spot that reminded me of the SNL skit it inspired. But, the food was just OK. If you're looking for a good burger, keep looking. If you're looking to check out a cool spot that has a cool history, then head to Billy... More

Great burgers, better atmosphere. Still a landmark place to eat, although all the legendary news reporters are no longer sitting in the dining area. Get the Cheezborger for a fantastic taste. Not on a typical hamburger bun, and you get to add your own condiments.

First time at Billy Goat Tavern and it was a unique experience. All my family had the cheeseburgers and chips. The beef patty is about 0.1lbs so a double is a must. The meat has an incredible good flavor. I tried the corned beef, which was piled on. Loved their pickles on the burgers and corned beef. The atmosphere is... More

You gotta visit this dive restaurant just based on the Saturday Night Live historical tradition. Great grease bombs. Cheezborger and chips. Just to say you were here is part of the fun.

This was about a block away from the United Center. Food was ok,not great but ok. We are enough to get us thru the game and we find something more fitting. Did help to pass time until game time!
