You hear that Chicago is famous for its deep dish pizza. This certainly is true. There are a lot of good deep dish pizza restaurants in Chicago. But if pizza is one of your basic food groups, none of the deep dishes comes close to the thin crust pizza at Vito and Nicks. Seriously. Let's be clear. This is no... More

Very good pizza on every visit including this weekend. Great attentive staff. Cozy old school atmosphere. Wonderful history. Couple things for bosses to check into. Whoever was manning the deep fryer when I visited didnt leave the fried zucchini in long enough.....were delivered mushy and cold in the center. Quite certain this was an isolated event. Maybe a new employee?... More

This pizzia joint was recommended by Smoque one of our favorite places to eat. Old area rundown. We felt like we stepped back in time upon walking in here. Voices sounding like they were straight out of the godfather movies! I kinda slunked down in our booth to look around and evesdrop on all the interesting accents and interesting characters here.... Count me as one of the fans of Vito & Nick's. We drove over an hour for our pilgrimage to what is touted as one of the best thin crust pizzas in Chicago. I'm inclined to agree. I love a crispy, thin crust that "crackles" as you bite into it. Let's be clear, this is not "Artisan" pizza. This is... More

We came here with a group of high school friends. I'm from NYC and still love my thin plain cheese pizza. I've had many "thin" pizzas, but this place makes one of the best! The cheese is just right on top of sauce that has the right amount of seasoning, on top of a crust that is perfect. The only... More

Another taste of my childhood. Miss places like this since I left Chicago. Old fashioned bar right out of the 1960's with the best local pizza around. Thin crust, perfect sauce, great sausage. A Chicago pizza lover's dream. One thing though, they only take cash so don't forget to hit the ATM before you go.

Have been going there for over fifty years. Upbeat casual place with great pizza. Remember the cash.

You know reading through the reviews, there are all types of people who visit this place. Whether you stumble across it on your own accord or get motivated after watching a segment on Triple D. The one thing you can take away from this place is, that they do things there own way and without fear of negativity similar to... More

Pizza is alway great. Price is good and service is fine. We go here at least once a month and rate their pizza as the best in the local area.

We drove 2 hours to visit this restaurant, saw that it was on DDD, so had to go. Love the atmosphere, nothing fancy just neat. If you like thin pizza with a ton of flavor, this is a must go to place!!! This is defiantly authentic, and a big variety of toppings! It was our anniversary and what a fun... More
