It is truly one of a kind experience. There are 16 rounds of food, small bites in most cases, but very unique. The presentation is simply wonderful and the staff is very professional. The thing we were most impressed by is that you can send your likes and dislikes and the food is customized to that.

It took us years to finally dine at Alinea. If we could get reservations, we could not come early, or extend our stay in Chicago, due to other travel commitments – or if we could extend, then no reservations were available – and then they closed for renovations. Well, on Feb 17, the planets aligned, we were able to extend... More

We came with lots of expectations that were met a lot of times but not all the time. I had a better experience at other restaurants in the states to be honest. A bit overrated but I think still worthwhile going just to have been there.

I can now see why this restaurant is acclaimed as one of the best in the world! I was lucky enough to be able to dine here in the summer of 2016 and ate in the main level dining room. The experience was phenomenal. In addition to the food (which was delicious and unique) being able to go into the... More

This is not just a meal it is an experience. The foods and the detail were superb. The wait staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable of their product. We have done chef tasting's all over the world and this is definitely one of the best.

We dined at Alinea with another couple a few years ago. All of us live for food, so we were looking for delicious cuisine, but also a mind-blowing experience (especially given the price). We truly had a great experience. Food was really good (it's not a gut busting, comfort type of meal), but you are dining for the experience and... More

Impeccable service, beautiful dishes and a refined ambiance. It's a bucket list item which was well worth it. Get the wine pairing, it rounds out the experience. We went for my wife's 40'th birthday. We love the food but the presentation even more.

If you haven't been exposed to any fine dining / food experiences, then a night at Alinea might be the greatest meal of your life. However, if you're a hardcore foodie you'll be disappointed. I had high hopes, but after the first three courses my enthusiasm began to diminish. It's hard to explain where Alinea went wrong,... maybe going so... More

Non-pretentious, classy and a fine tuned machine. Simply delicious! Each course was more inventive than the last and as delicious as it was beautiful!
