Some say this is the best restaurant in the United States. I would agree. Just an amazing meal start to finish. Fixed tasting menu. I had it with a wine paring. Fantastic. Dish after dish of amazing creations. Not cheap and you must buy the...More

Yes this was one of the best meals I have ever had and one of the most expensive. It's not cheap but if you are looking for a special place for a special occasion it is well worth every dollar.

The building is very unassuming, as is the dining room. I felt as if I was in someone's home as oppose to resturant awarded 3 Michelin stars. Now I'm not complaining, because I came here for the food. I wanted so desperately to LOVE Alinea...More

Wonderful. Amazing. Creative. Clever. Fun. Beautiful. All the things everybody else says. Only one thing.....seems churlish to mention it....but taste? Everything was spectacular, but how come after 14 or 15 courses, there was nothing we wanted to eat again, eat more of. Nothing we tried...More

First visited Alinea 8 years ago and was excited to return. It met its expectations (certainly the best fine-dining experience I have been to in the US) and the service was wonderful. The menu could have done with a few more courses (more on the...More

Normally these type of places do not appeal to me. However, I have been dying to eat since 2013 and finally got back to Chicago to do some shopping and the meal of my life. Every course was an experience and not just something to...More

Alinea. The most incredible dining experience I have ever had, shared in the great company of like-minded yet slightly insane colleagues and foodies who enjoyed this delectable 3-Michelin star dining experience with me in one of the world's best restaurants. A masterpiece of flavorful misdirection...More
