This was a wonderful Latin American Fusion restaurant that blew me away. They were able to use a mixture of traditional ingredients to keep the flavors interesting and keep the taste balanced so it wasn't too odd/ strange. Food was phenomenal!!! I had about 15...More

Each item I ordered was delicious. The Beet Salad was very good and the Chile en Nogado was delicious. But the service tonight was really off. I'll still go back. Friendly service and the chef owner always comes to the table to check on our...More

The minute you enter this charming storefront on 18 Street, you know! Carefully prepared food not overpriced. The Tiger Shrimp Salad included four large shrimps on lovely greens and chopped fruits. A bean soup of the day was a meal in itself. Do not miss...More

We had a groupon to this restaurant but I wasn't very excited about it. My favorite Mexican restaurant is in Pilsen, too. So I had low expectations. But I was completely wrong. I loved the experience. This restaurant doesn't have traditional Mexican food. It's fusion...More

Went to Mundial this weekend after wanting to give it a try for a long time. We definitely were not disappointed. It's a place that almost defies description. It has it's foundations in Mexican food, but it goes so far beyond the expected. Innovative salads,...More

An absolutely unimposing storefront restaurant in Pilsen, 3 blocks from the CTA station. I had read about it on TA, looked up the website, and decided to work it into my trip to Chicago this past weekend -- how smart I was... We went there...More

A neighborhood restaurant with imaginative and entertaining dishes. Was there with one guest who can't eat spicy foods, and there seemed to be an element of heat in everything, but overall an incredibly entertaining use of ingredients, charming service, off the beaten tourist path.

This is one of those restaurants you simply must try. Every appetizer and entree was excellent. We were talking about the food and the good time we had days later. Rarely is a small, unassuming restaurant so memorable
