Went here for breakfast one morning because it was close to our hotel. Had the standard 2 eggs, potatoes, toast and coffee. The food was satisfactory, the price was reasonable and the service was prompt. It is more like a diner. It has lost some...More

The double cheeseburger is the way to go. Had the ribeye sandwich as well during the same stay and the burger is a better choice hands down. Beer was very affordable and the service was great.

The burgers are really good, but really small. Highly recommend ordering a double, otherwise the giant bun overshadows the burger. Prices are very reasonable. Cubs game was on when we were there for late lunch & was a lively spot.

Ordered a hamburger which was very thin so recommend getting the double. The buns however were so bad we pulled the tops off. Noticed that the other patrons were tossing their buns to the side as well. Paid too much for lousy food.

This place is a landmark in Chicago. Gets five stars for lack of pretence and then five for service, food and beer. Great hamburgers, fries, dogs etc - you know the drill! No frills but basic good food and draft beer, the 'Billy Goat IPA'...More
