This is my 3rd stop at this restaurant, 2 breakfasts and today lunch. I did note a sign outside which said New Owner. Their portion sizes certainly havn't been squeezed by a chg of ownership. Each of my meals has been more than enough and tasty! Today roast beef was one of many specials. It came with a cup of... More

Stopped in while staying the night on a road trip. The food was excellent; the only "bad" thing was so many choices. Try the bean soup if available. It was awesome!

I've eaten at Woody's three or four times while traveling. I have yet to have a bad meal and I ALWAYS have food left over to make a second meal. I highly recommend taking the time to have a sit-down meal instead of just hitting the fast food places if you're traveling and if you live in the El Paso,... More

My husband and I were on one of our "lets go for a ride" trips and came across this place in El Paso Illinois. It was very clean, the restrooms were very clean and the service was great. Now lets get to the food. The open face beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was fantastic and enough to feed 2, the... More

This is a normal small town sit down restaurant with great food, very generous portions, a lot of it home-made! Highly recommended!

Woody's Family Restaurant in El Paso is a great place to eat with family or friends. Food was ample and the price was good too. Coffee was a bit over dune like it had sat on the burner to long in other words not to fresh. Food and water and pop were great. There is one little problem it was... More

I met there with another sales person like myself. We had a very good breakfast and they didn't try to rush us out while visiting and taking care of our business. Another good place I would stop when traveling through the area of Illinois again.

This restaurant had a very complete menu (not many places offer egg salad sandwiches any more). The portions were large, and the hand made french fries were the best. The homemade soups were hot and tasty as well. The server was smiling and pleasant. You need to go East off 39 toward the town of El Paso, but it isn't... More

Stopped again for lunch Wife and I ordered the Walleye special. We were unable to eat it. All mushy and running with grease. Told server and she took it off the ticket. Talked to another server and was told this isn't the first time people have complained. People complained a week ago and management has not seen obligated to fix... More

The Restaurant does not look like much from the exterior, Dirt parking lot, needs some paint etc. However once you get past the exterior the staff is friendly and attentive. They have a very large food selection, The dinning area is large. Appears to be the place the locals eat. The interior is reasonably clean, keep in mind it is... More
