Great place for a delicious sandwich. You can order half or whole on delicious bread. My husband got the steamer and I the anchor. The condiment on the anchor complimented the turkey and cheese so much it was yummilishous! Hailey took was order with a...smile and was so friendly answering my questions. Masks were worn by all workers, the serving and eating areas were clean and the outdoor seating was also. Very convenient off the Great River bike trail.More

Small town coffee house gem

This is one of our local favorites and a place we frequent often. Ownership hires and trains a wonderful group of young men and women who offer fantastic, friendly customer service. They offer a great selection of coffee which is very well done. The menu...has a lot of good sandwiches. I’d recommend several places in Fulton, but if you’re in town for just one meal, Steam Anchor is the place to stop. They are in the process now of expanding the dining space because of the popularity of the place. It should be really nice.More

Gourmet food in our little town?

Yes, it's true! From the unassuming outside, you'd never expect the fabulous gourmet food & charming decor inside. We've eaten there several times & it has always been fabulous, we especially appreciate their gluten-free options & knowledge. With both of us on gluten-free diets, eating...out is often a challenge so we love finding new places where we can safely & confidently eat. The service was fast, going at non-peak times is recommended as they are popular.More

There is a reason they are always so busy!

There is ALWAYS a line at Steam Anchor Coffee and Cafe, and for good reason: the service is tremendous, and so are their sandwiches and soups. Their coffees are made fresh with their own roasted beans. AWESOME!

Exquisite

Our friends recommended this restaurant for dinner. We ordered the garden turkey sandwich with a cup of soup. The bread was very moist and flavorful. We also had a good chicken noodle soup. The staff was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable for the...amount of food. Decor was unique with a local flair. Outside seating was available. We will return for more coffee and food when we drive that way from Davenport.More

Absolutely amazing!!

Steam anchor has absolutely THE BEST coffee ever, AND wonderful sandwiches and salads are an added bonus! Top it off with one of their muffins or scones, and you have a perfect trifecta!!! Wonderful experience and service EVERY time!

Small coffee shop

This place is behind the Americinn in Fulton, Il. Owned by two brothers and their wives. Very personable and friendly. Cinnamon rolls are good. Ask for them warmed and less icing. Interesting menu. Took my name but actually brought our orders out to us.

We eat here often! Excellent sandwiches! Orchard Turkey is my favorite. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff! Not a coffee fan, but the energy drinks are amazing!!
