This place is swanky. It reminds me of places you would find in New York. The food was pretty good as well. However it is really small and dark. The serving sizes are tiny. We also felt very rushed. When we ordered the dessert we asked for three bread puddings however the waiter states they are huge and we would... More

We love coming to Preservation Bread and Wine as often as we can. I love that I can try a new wine by the glass and have always had great experiences with the staff recommendations. We love to go here for a date night or with another couple to share lots of small plates. The atmosphere is cozy and the... More

Very small cafe - in the winter dress a little more warmly than usual as there's not too many places to escape the cold coming in the front door. Service was excellent as our glasses of water and tea were always refilled before we needed to ask and lunch was delicious! Two of us are eating gluten free so the... More

Found some cozy seats by the window. Friendly staff provided suggestions about the items available. As a starter the onion soup worked well, the lamb meatloaf and cassoulet were both outstanding. Well worth the visit

Three of us girls on a Christmas House Tour in Geneva took a much needed break at this establishment. Because it was crowded, we sat at the small bar and are we glad that we did. The bartender gave us sips of wine to help us choose our drink for lunch. Next time we will try the Laissez Pear because... More

We were not planning on dinner but had asked a friend where we might go for a glass of wine and she recommended this place. It's a bit tight - a small room where you enter but most of the tables were occupied. This was about 5:00pm but the manager said if we could be done by 6:30, he could... More

Excellent place for lunch! We had the hot turkey and a pulled pork sandwich with butternut squash soup and butter lettuce salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!

So I must confess that I love this little local wine bar. It reminds me of something you'd find tucked away in downtown Chicago. It's cozy in the front with a new(er) covered patio in the back. Exposed brick walls and a small kitchen. Don't let its small size fool you since their cheese & charcuterie plates are delish! Go... More
