Good summer spot to enjoy a brew right off the prairie path. Bar food ~ good service. Indoor is a little dark for lunch...also provide a coupon for the Deli location in Lombard.

Shannon's reminds me of being in Ireland. Cozy, friendly, and cold beer. The food is outstanding. We have had birthday parties and Anniversary parties here in their back bar area. The catering was exceptional. I highly recommend the fish and chips and the reuben rolls...More
It's really an Irish Pub! Great Irish food options, bar, menu. We've enjoyed stopping in at many different times. Always a welcome greeting and a busy place. We are big fans of the reuben appetizers. Narrowing down a fav for main entree is a little...More
Corned beef and cabbage was delicious! Friends had the strip steak and were very happy. The atmosphere was that of an upscale Irish Pub. Warm, cozy, and the best choice of whiskeys around. Scott was our server and while he was kept busy, did a...More
nothing fancy about the place. they have a butcher shop in Lombard where they get their meat, Otherwise typical Irish faire/barfood
The food here is straightforward Irish fare; nice heated patio in the back for overflow crowds. Food ranges from good to delicious! I like their smoked Irish salmon as a main course (it's an appetizer on the menu) and my husband loves their fried fish....More
truly a homey Irish Pub with excellent food. Perfect for lunch, dinner, dessert or just for drinks with friends. The outdoor patio is cozy if it gets noisy. All the foods portions are huge, so be prepared to get a to-go box for leftovers.
Great little place, or so it seems to eat and have a beer or two. Very nice terrace in the back for outdoor seating. It is large and can accommodate a good size crowd and if it gets chilly, they have heaters! Food is great...More
Great food, always consistent, great atmosphere and great drinks. Nice wooded decor, but not a huge place or huge menu, so there's less chance of getting a bad meal. If you're in the downtown Glen Ellyn area, this place is worth checking out.
I have been there a few times and have eaten in the bar area, as well as the outdoor area in summer and winter. It was surprisingly comfy in the winter with the heaters and fireplace.
