The Sunday roasts at this establishment are something special. Never been disappointed. Lots of cooked but crunchy fresh vegetables and layers of meat. One of the very few places I would recommend without hesitation for a good Sunday lunch.

We chose this pub for my mother's wake and I must say what a great afternoon we had on a sad day. A quaint old traditional pub with a superb beer garden , the function was placed in the conservatory with the most helpful landlord...More

First time here for a birthday dinner. Welcome was good and all the staff were funny and friendly. Menu is quite limited but there is something for everyone. Steaks were tender and well cooked. Chicken dish was full of flavour. The only thing that distracted...More

We've heard good things about the food here, but to be honest we were a little disappointed. Didn't think it was particularly good value for money. Certainly not enough veg etc with the meals! However, what we had tasted ok but was nothing special. Also,...More

After a day of biking we decided to reward ourselves with an evening meal and a few beers. This pub is lovely and the food delicious. The young lady and young man who waited on were very attentive and service was with a smile.

This is my local. It's been a pleasure to watch the transformation brought about by the Landlord Mal and his wife Diane. They've both put their heart and soul into this place since they took it on about eight years ago and have worked tirelessly...More

Hi Raymond, I would say that while access is possible (one of the regulars is a wheelchair user) I wouldn't consider it "easy." The pub is very old and narrow in places. Getting around it in a chair might throw up a few... More
