Food and service was outstanding. The margarita was one of the best I have had. The guacamole was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

I visit this restaurant on and off and I am always pleased with the over all experience. Their chicken vegetable soup is a good option.

Delicious food! We are fans and love the quesadillas! We have been coming to both locations for a few years.....dissappointed that they reworked the pricing for the portobello mushroom quesadillas. Much more expensive.

Casa de Isaac has great, standard Mexican food that reminds me of all the places I love back home in southern California. The chips and salsa were awesome (complimentary, of course), and I inhaled my enchiladas (two chicken and one cheese with verde sauce, with rice and beans). The setting is bright and cheery, and the menu is large with... More

Love this place, salsa is tasty, enchiladas are always amazing. Highly recommend the Isaac's mothers enchiladas, they don't come with rice or beans but are covered in avocado and fresh cheese. Lunch time prices are way better than dinner, they also have an app you can download that offers coupons.

Good quality Mexican favorites. Nice, lively atmosphere and attentive service. We hadn't looked at the price for the margarita pitchers ($52) so where shocked when the bill came. Although the margarita's were good and it was better than purchasing individual drinks.

This restaurant serves the usual Mexican fare, but it has interesting specials which enhances the dinning experience. The décor is traditional Mexican and is a very comfortable place to dine. Service is efficient and friendly.

They actually have two restaurants in the area: this one in Highland Park and the other one not too far away in Highwood. If you are meeting people who have not been there before, make sure that they make sure which of the two places to go to! The one in Highwood is a little cozier, but this one in... More

If you want real Mexican cusine, not your ordinary taco joint, this is the place to go. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is excellent in this family owned and operated gem. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and if you havent been there for breakfast, you are missing wonderful omlettes and other unexpected treats.

The food is pretty average. Last time I ordered steak tacos and the steak tasted a little strange and the meat what cut up in really big chunks. I do not find the flavor in their food authentic and find it overpriced for what it is. I do appreciate the service though. The staff is always great. Unfortunately there are... More

La Casa de Isaac and Moishe’s Restaurant is the second Mexican restaurant established in Highland Park by the Nava family from Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico. As family owned and operated establishments, the Nava family has brought some unique Mexican dishes to Chicago’s North Shore. Isaac’s Mother’s Favorite Enchiladas – a recipe developed by their mother, Florencia – continues to be a customer favorite. New specialty items are added continually with an emphasis on local favorites from their home region. The Nava family maintains a strong commitment and loyalty to the community by offering unique Mexican dishes with excellent service. They appreciate the support and patronage of their customers.
